Ditch third period - check
kidnap two losers - double check
Possible injure and maim someone - triple check
Looks like my check list of good deeds had all but been done. And add to that the yelling I was sure to hear from Dad when I returned home later that night, when school was supposed to end. Just a bucket full of joy ahead of me.
"I hate you both." It was clearly their fault that this happened.
Mike Newton was popular. His fame unheard of, so he at least hoped. With him, it was more so of his looks that made him popular with the girls, from what I gathered. Two minutes into waiting so that I could just use someone to guide me around, I spotted the blond-haired boy, as he tugged across the school grounds.
We weren't the best of friends. Merely talked only a few times in the past and that had mainly been because of Dads attempt to get me to be friends with the kids who lived in Forks. But I knew enough about the boy from Dad as well.
So, when the chance came up to cause a bit of trouble, I might have tugged after him, and jumped into a conversation. And that's when Eric Yorkie decided to make his sudden appearance.
Now him, I've never meet before. Yet somehow, we ended up in my car with no set destination on my first day of school.
"My dad is going to kill me, because of you two," I hissed.
Mike adjusted himself so that half of his body was in the front, while the rest of him remained in the back. "No, he won't."
He clearly didn't know the chief that well if he disagreed.
"Just tell him Mikey here threatened you with a date," Eric suggested.
Sure, in the few minutes before the car and me kidnaping them so that I wasn't bored until the next period, we had become quick friends. Though the two boys clearly didn't like one another. But I didn't see this friendship lasting that long.
"Because he would accept that," I grumbled. "First, I was late, then I left the school grounds. I can just see it now. Me dead before the night ends."
"You're the one said, jump into my car and I'll kidnap you both."
"And you said you thought my sister was hot!" I fired back, tempted to slam on the breaks just to see if he would fly forward. "Two seconds into the conversation you said that. Clearly, I was justified."
"You tried to break my arm," Mike fired back.
"Once again, you called my sister hot."
"She is."
I didn't need him to repeat that. Bella was pretty and there was nothing wrong with it, but I just didn't like the idea of him calling her that.
"I should just ditch you at the side of the road," I hissed.
I regret following after him to have something to do.
"You won't because you love me."
I twitched at his words. "Eric, if I dump his body, you won't tell right? There's more than enough room to put you with him if you do."
Eric, who had been having trouble keeping his laughter at bay, quickly shook his head. "I wouldn't get on her bad side. Her dad is the chief, Mike."
"I'm not afraid."
He should be. If dad was going to kill me, I wouldn't be the only one in a sinking boat. I might as well take them along.
"He's the one who can take your license away. Still not afraid?"
