THIRD PERSON POV
Tires squealed as the car twisted, turning on the dark empty road, avoiding the object in the road. Headlights flashed in the air for a mere second before it suddenly hit the tree lines, illuminating the dense forest. The sound of glass popping echoed, hitting the pavement ground as the car came to a halt.
Gas leaked, filling the air with fumes. The silence was shattered as a child cries filled the chilly night air. Cries that echoed along the long and empty road.
A male inside of the vehicle slowly regained consciousness at the sound of the child. His vision was blurry as he couldn't focus on what was happening or why he was suddenly upside down. His hand moved downward and towards his face.
He couldn't remember what had happened only that the car had suddenly flipped. Did they almost hit something? An animal?
Footsteps crunched against the glass, grabbing the male attention.
"Hello! Who's there? Please, you have to help us!?" He called out, a sense of relief feeling him at the thought of someone arriving already. "Please, you have to help us! My son! My son is scared!"
He watched as the owner stopped outside of his window before the feet turned and started to walk away. He was confused, startled that the person wouldn't help him when it was obverse that something had happened.
"You have to help us! Please!" The male shouted, his hands going to unbuckle his seatbelt. "Please!" He found himself panicking, struggling with the seatbelt that seemed to be stuck in its place.
The wail of the child seemed to grow only louder as the seconds pass.
Suddenly the sound of an explosion sounded, the car igniting before it touched the gas, causing the soundings to become deadly quiet. Pieces of the car flew in all directions, the flames rising in the air for only seconds before descending, while the heat continued to radiate into the cold night.
Sirens could be heard in the distance, coming to the scene too late.
