Chapter 7.5 Jasper Hale Vision

Third Person POV

Jan 15th (10 days before)

Alice Cullen, a very pale but beautiful female, who was thin in the extreme and had pixie-like features. She stood staring in the mirror, observing her cropped short, but spiky ink black hair. Alice didn't mind having short hair, even if it didn't give her a wide range of possibilities to style.

There was one thing about Alice Cullen, that no one knew but her family and that was that she was a vampire. Only she wasn't the only vampire in the whole area but so was her family. Each of them had came knocking on death's door, only to be reborned again as something new and different.

What made the Cullen family vampires and not just crazy people? Many things set them apart from the humans that they lived around, worked with, and even went to school with.

Alice could see in the future, though it often changes because of different decisions being made. Though she could usually tell the difference between set in stone futures and ones that could constantly change, Alice still didn't seem to have a very clear grasp on the concept.

Edward Cullen, a pale but extremely attractive male, who appearance seemed similar to the mythical Greek God, Adonis could read someone's mind. More often than not he founds himself hearing others thoughts in his own mind, something that he deep regrets as some thoughts are anything but pleasant. Yet he has yet to find a way to keep out of other minds, knowing that it bothers his family when he falls into one of theirs.

Jasper Hale, was just as inhumanly handsome as the rest of his family, but he appeared to have bruise-like purple shadows under his eyes, which appear gradually as his thirst increases. Unlike with Edward Cullen, who looks are compared to that of Adonis, Jasper finds himself representing the Greek God Hades. Like his brother and sister, Jasper as well had a gift and that was controlling, feeling, others emotions.

These was the three most gifted vampires in their conven but not the only ones. Carlisle Cullen, the leader and father figure, finds himself able to have complete control of his blood lust and never once drained a human. A rarity that seems to not exist in the vampire world but through legends and talks.

Rosalie Hale, found herself being the more attractive and eye catching vampire, as others looked pale in comparison. She prides herself on her looks, something that outmatches most all other vampires that exist.

Emmett Cullen, even with his large muscles, was one of the stronger vampires that existed and believe that this was his gift. As it appeared that he was close to being as strong as a newborn vampire.

It wasn't even these gifts and paleness that set them apart from humans. As most would find reasons for it happening, Edward is just able to read body language very well, or Alice was merely able to take the right guess. Any possibility seemed more real than believing in something that couldn't be explained without science.

It was also their bodies that appeared to as hard as marble, and sparkled in direct sunlight. Unlike the myths that vampires burn in the sun, a fact that was far from the truth in a sense, they skin had a glow to it. Which was why, the Cullens enjoyed living in the state of Washington and often went back to visit it.

The weather there was rainy and dreary more than 80 percent of the time, giving them a chance to live the life of a normal human. Without the fears of being exposed for what they were and than killed for breaking a law.
