Third Person POV

Renee helped Bella walk the short distance it was to the Cullens house, a smile gracing her face. "Come on Sis it's not going to be the end of the world." Renee once again repeated as she knew that he sister hated anything party related.

Bella wanted to groan wishing that everyone would stop babying her and leave her be unless it was Edward of course. Just because she gotten a broken leg from James attacking her didn't mean that she was as helpless as everyone believed.

"You're in a awful cheerful mood." Bella pointed out. "Something happen that I don't know of?"

Renee chuckled, shrugging her shoulders. "The world's a mystery, Bells. Don't try to hard to figure it out." The older Swan twin replied, opening the door that she became familiar with. "Just enjoy the party."

"You said it was a get together!" Bella accused before freezing as she notice Edward standing with his family.

Renee once again laughed as she left her sisters side to go to Jasper side, knowing that Edward would appear next to Bella. The older female Swan was slowly getting use to the supernatural world that she lived in as she found herself becoming friends with a vampire that dieted on animal blood and a shapeshifter as a best friend.

"You're one tough human." Emmett greeted Bella first, cracking a joke.

"Have to be if I want to survive around you." Bella mumbled, tugging on her long sleeves, while he laughed. "So, uh, who's idea was this?"

Of course Bella didn't have to guess to hard that it was her sister's idea no matter how much she denied it. Renee looked away while letting out a whistle and crossing her arms behind her back. It wasn't like anyone was really going to rat her out right.

Edward chuckled having seen what the girl was thinking.

Renee had a strange feeling that she would once again threaten to burn a vampire on a stick. Shaking her head, she shifted as she stood between Jasper and Alice, feeling the slight chillness that came from being surrounded by the two of them.

"Does it matter, Sis. Let us human eat some food and find away to poke fun at these vampires, excluding you Esme." Renee said, earning a chuckle from the two next to her. "You're as lovely as ever."

Esme smiled, feeling a warmth of love for the human female. "Thank you, Renee." Esme answered, wishing that she could've had a child like her before feeling a wave of sadness hit her.

Jasper sensing that something was wrong, while Edward had read her mind, found different ways to change the atmosphere. Jasper used his ability to slightly change those around him emotions to feel more pumped about the party, expecty Emmetts as he didn't want to risk that vampire jumping off walls.

"Why don't I play a song for you, Bella." Edward said, leading the one legged cast human towards the piano while the other went towards the kitchen. "I know you would enjoy listening to it."

Bella easily followed the mind reading vampire. "Uh, ya sure."

Renee shook her head at her sister but still smiled nonetheless. She was glad that Bella was feeling much better than before and not as bitter that she and their mom had shown up. Still Renee couldn't help but think that Bella was hiding something from her.

"Bella plans to corner you later and give you a earful." Alice warned as she pulled Renee towards the kitchen. "She also plans to tell you how sorry she is for the other night."
Renee sighed, thinking back to Bella's hurtful words. "She's my sister. I get it." The female said, even as her heart tugged painfully.
