"Ella where is my uniform?? I'm going to be late for work?" Savanna asked Ella as she looked everywhere for it.

"I put it somewhere" Ella said trying to remember where she put it.

"Shit" Savanna said looking at the time "I'll just tell my boss I spilled coffee on it and it's drying right now" Savanna grabbed her purse and ran out the door.

Ella went on her phone for a bit before hearing a knock on the door.

She opened it and was approached by Jacob.

"Baby!!" Jacob said giving his girlfriend the biggest hug.

"How are you??" Ella asked him.

"I feel great, I just got off the plane and I couldn't wait to see you" Jacob said.

"Well I was just going out to get some lunch, want to come?" Ella asked her boyfriend.

"You don't have to ask" Jacob said making Ella smiled.

Ella looked for her wallet.

She found it under some pillows on the couch but also found something along with it.

"Well I found Savanna's uniform" Ella held up the uniform.

"Well we can eat at the diner if it's easier?" Jacob suggested.

"Thank you" Ella said as she and Jacob walked out of her apartment hand in hand.

They drove to the diner instead of walking considering Jacob was tired and didn't want to walk.

The two walked in and grabbed a booth.

"Hey guys" Savanna said giving them a menu.

"Oh here's your uniform" Ella handed Savanna the uniform.

"THANK YOU!!" Savanna said as she walked away.

Jacob and Ella talked about what they wanted to order.

The pleated their ordered and waited for the food to come.

"So how was Edmonton?" Ella asked about her boyfriend's hometown.

"Refreshing! I haven't been back home in years, it was good to see some familiar faces" Jacob said.

"So did anything happen while I was gone?" Jacob asked.

"Not really except for the fact that I broke a sprinkler while babysitting the Youngs" Ella said as Jacob started to laugh.

"Well I could imagine you soaked" Jacob says laughing at his own imagination.

"Well I could've been really soaked but luckily Mitch walked by and stopped it" Ella said as Jacob stopped laughing.

Ever since that Halloween fundraiser, Jacob was still thinking about how Ella and Mitch looked at each other.

In fact Jacob came back from Edmonton a week earlier because he didn't couldn't stop thinking about it.

"Here's your food" Savanna handed them their food.

"Look at who is sitting at table 3" Savanna whispered in Ella's ear.

Ella looked and saw four boys sitting there 3 of which she recognized.

Savanna went over to that table and gave them their food.

"Mitch look behind you" Savanna whispered in his ear.

Savanna left as Mitch turned around.

They both looked at each other before giving a waved.

Jacob looked at what Ella was looking at.

He saw Mitch and started to get furious but he didn't want to show it in front of Ella.

"Babe let's eat" Jacob said as Ella looked at him.

"Sure" Ella smiles before peaking at Mitch to see him doing the same.

They both smiled and went back to what they were doing.

Ella and Jacob finished eating their food.

"Babe I think your car is getting towed" Ella said pointing out the window.

"Fuck" Jacob said before giving Ella the money "Use this to pay for the food" Jacob rushed out.

Ella paid the check and also gave a tip.

"Hello" Mitch said from behind her.

"Hey" Ella greeted back as Mitch stood next to her.

"So I was wondering if you would like to come to our next home game on Monday?" Mitch asked.

"Sure I have nothing else to do" Ella said.

"Good because Sydney kept asking me to ask you" Mitch said "And it's tiring"

Ella and Mitch both started to laugh.

Outside the diner Jacob managed to not get his car towed.

Savanna came out carrying garbage bags.

She threw it in the garbage bin.

Jacob looked through the window and saw Mitch and Ella talking.

Savanna joined him.

"Do I have to be worried about this?" Jacob asked his girlfriend's bestie.

"Do you want my honest opinion?" Savanna asked as Jacob nodded.

"I would make sure to keep a eye on the two" Savanna said as she began to walk away.

"Oh and Jacob" Savanna turned around.

"Open your eyes" Savanna gave him those three simple words.

Savanna walked back inside the diner as Jacob continued to look through the window.

Jacob took Savanna's advice and opened his eyes a little and little did he know.

Everything seemed to be clearer.
