Chapter 14

Y/N pov

I almost let the phone drop on the floor. They knew. How ?

I glupped.

'' I'll play '' I answered.

'' I'll play too ''Damian said

'' I'll play too ''Bruce said.

The person laughed again.''Well, well, well, the first ordeal will be tomorrow night at 11p.m, where everything has begun '' and he hung up.

We stayed silent.

'' Where everything has begun ? '' Bruce repeated.

"What has begun ?'' Alfred asked.

I had almost frogot that he was still here.

'' The game '' Damain responded.

'' The swimming pool !'' Bruce exclaimed '' We have to go to the swimming pool ''

'' True. It was the first scene of their crime '' Damian said. '' We have to prepare ourselves ''

He stood up.

'' They want us as Batman, Robin and the Raven, we'll go there in our costums. We have to take weapons. They never said we coudln't ''

Bruce stood up, nodding.

I followed Damian to our room. He took me in his arms. ''We will find him, Y/N. We will. '' he said.

'' We accepted to play a game with psychopaths '' I whispered '' A fucking game. What if we lose ? ''

'' We will not lose. We'll win. ''

'' We are playing the life of our son '' I cried.

We tried to sleep this night but we couldn't

The rest of the day we prepared ourselves. I put my costume of the Raven. I never put it since I had left Gotham for the first time. It was strange. The dress still fit me. It was strange to feel the weight of my bat in my hand.

I stayed lay down on our couch, hearing the scared voice of my son and his cry. Then the voice of the man. '' where everything has begun '' . The swimming pool. It seemed too easy. Too easy. Something wasn't right.

Suddenly it hit me. I stood up and ran to the Batcave where Bruce, Alfred and Damian were.

'' It's not the swimming pool ! '' I screamed

They turned toward me. ''But the first crime was in the swimming pool '' Bruce said

'' Yes, but it didn't begin there. We know that the riddles given to Nathan were followed by a crime scene. ''

'' Are you saying that it has begun at ... ''

Damian was cut by the ringtone of my phone. I had received a text from an unknow number.
