The Circle (Damian Wayne x reader )

Chapter 6

Y/N pov

I played with Nathan in his room. We finished to eat dinner few minutes ago. Damian and Bruce weren't back from work.

Then it was time to put Nathan in his bed. I tucked him in his bed, kissing the top of his head. I was about to leave the room when he called me.

'' Mommy ... ''

''What is it, little tiger? ''

I saw him fidgetting with his little fingers.

'' As tomorrow is the weekend, do you think daddy will have time to play with me ? '' he whispered.

He looked down.

'' I know daddy is really busy but ... I would like to play with him ... ''

I sighed. I walked to his bed and took his hands in mine.

'' I'm sure he will have time to play with you, Nat. Don't worry. '' I kissed him again and left him sleep.

I walked to the Batcave. No one was here. I looked at the screens, with the pieces of informations about the case with the pendant.

Suddenly, a red light lit upon a screen, before things began to be spraid on it. It was pictures of a crime scene.

It happened on a bridge. Two bodies had been found. One had been strangled and the other drown. Around their neck, the same pendant of a circle with a dancing skeleton had been found.

As I watched the pieces of informations, sweat rolled down my face. The same pendant meaned the same person or group.

Then I remembered ...

My hands began to shake.

 No way ...

 It couldn't be ...

I heared a door be opened. Bruce and Damian entered in the room and watched the screen.

'' We have to go to the crime scene now '' Bruce said.

They didn't even looked at me. They disappeared few minutes then came back in their uniforms.

I looked at Batman starting the Batmobile.

'' Wait '' I said.

Batman was already in the car. Damian turned toward me.

'' Sorry love, we have to go ''

'' Damian, wait. I have to tell you .... ''

'' Not now Y/N ! '' he responded.

He was about to get in the car when I grabbed his arm.

'' Listen to me ! '' I said loudly '' Something bad is .... ''

He freed his arm quite harshly. '' Y/N. I said not now ''

Then he got in and they drove away.

I hugged myself, tears threatening to fall. Something bad is happenning.

And I'm scared for my family
