Chapter 15

Y/N pov

I fixed at the screen of my phone, as I waited into the car. Do not bring weapons. We had nothing to protect us. We had only our strengh.

I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up and meet the gaze of Damian.

''It's almost 11p.m '' he said.

I became tensed. I balled my fist and went out of the car. Damian joined me in his costume of Robin. Batman arrived next to us. He looked at us. I put my mask on and took a deep breath.

''It's time to go '' I said.

We walked toward the gates. We were in front of Nathan's school. There were no light, or sign of life. The gates were closed.

''Do we have to climb ? '' Robin asked.

I was about to respond when the sound of bell rang 11p.m. At the same time,the gates of the school opened; creaking.

We passed and the front door of the building opened too. We entered into the building. As soon as we were inside, the front door slammed behind us. Batman turned around. I heard him mutter '' lock ''.

We were in the dark. I couldn't see much. Suddenly we heard a door being open, creaking on its hinges. It let a ray of light entered in the hallway. We ran toward the door and entered in the classroom.

It was empty. The desks of the pupils faced the desk of the teacher and the blackboard.

I saw that on three desks there were a piece of paper and a pen.

'' I think we have to sit '' Bruce said.

I looked the piece of paper on the nearest desk.

''We have a desk assigne for each of us.'' I informed.

Damian had to sit on the first raw. Bruce was behind him and I was behind Bruce.( I just imagine Batman sitting in a classroom > < )

I took the piece of paper and turned it in the other side. Nothing, just a piece of paper with my name on it.

Then a voice resonated in the classroom:

I'm better than God

I'm worse than the devil

The poor have me

The rich people don"t have me

If you eat me, you die

What am I ?
