Chapter 26

Y/N pov

I watched my son blinking few time before tears filling up his eyes.

'' M-mommy, wh-why are you b-bleeding ?'' he sobbed.

Then he fainted. Damian took him in his arms and looked at me. I looked down at the knife dug into my stomach The pain was awful. The blood was dripping

We turned around to see the Mad hatter playing with his hat. '' You'r son was so easy to manipulate '' he said with a dark smile.

Damian put Nathan carefully on the ground and stood up. I could only watch him running to the Madhatter and throwing him a punch. The mad hatter fell on the floor,inconscious.

'' How dare you to touch my son ? '' he roared. He kicked him in the stomach again and again.

I felt my eyes closing. I had lost to much blood. I saw the other members of the Circle leaving the room by an hidden door .

'' D-damian '' I said with all the strengh I still could find in myself. '' Th-they are leaving''.

Damian turned around and I saw the dilemma he was facing : running after them or taking care of us.

'' Go catch them '' I said.'' we, we'll be okay. ''

'' I will come back soon, okay ? I promise ''

I nodded then he left by the hidden door.

I sighed. I tried to stand up but fail. I couldn't help my son to go out of here; Suddenly the iron was opened and Batman entered with Alfred.

They looked around, seeing the Mad hatter still on the floor and Nathan and I. Batman ran to the Mad hatter to handcuffed him, and Alfred came to us.

'' Took Nathan out of here'' I said.

'' But Miss Y/N, you'r bleeding ''

'' Took him outside '' I almost screamed

He finally left with Nathan.Batman came to me and helped me to stand up. My legs were like jelly.

'' You need help '' he muttered. '' Where is Robin ? ''

'' He is trying to catch the others '' I responded weakly.

'' Why did they run away ?'' he asked '' Did you pass the last ordeal ? ''

I shook my head

'' No, the ordeal wasn't over but they just left and .... ''

I stopped. My face went paler/ more pale if it as possible.

'' No, no, no, no '' I screamed.

I push Batman away from me and stumbled toward the hidden door. Everything was dancing around me.I knew I was losing too much blood but I had to follow Damian, I had to.

 The ordeal wasn't over yet.
