Chapter 22

Y/N pov

Damian tore off a piece ofhis cape and began to wrap my wounded hand with it, then he pressed a piece of it against my wounded shoulder. I winced of pain.

'' It's okay, it's okay ''I heard him mumbled under his breath.

I looked up toward batman.He was asking to Zsasz who were the others members of the circle and where was Nathan. But Zsasz was just laughing.

'' I'll take him outside'' Batman said before leaving with Victor.

'' Come on '' Damian said into my ear; He took me carefully in his arms and walked toward the exit but as he was only few steps away, the door was closed.

''No, no, no, no ... '' I began to sob. I couldn't pass a single minute here again.

Damian put me on the ground and tried to open the door. '' Shit ! ''

I was shaking, hugging myself. '' A dream, it's just a dream, a dream ...''

Damian ran toward me and fell on his knees next to me. He took my face in his hands and forced me to look at him. '' Y/N, look at me! stay with me, okay ? It's real. You are in the reality. I'm real. I know that you are hurt but you have to stay strong okay ? You have to be strong for Nathan. Nathan is waiting for us. ''

I nodded between my tears.

'' O-okay '' I croaked.

He kissed my forhead.

We stood up, looking around,not really knowing what to do.

'' Ding, ding, ding '' the voice on the loudspeakers exclaimed suddenly.

'' Our dear guests are invited to go to the new ordeal ''

A loud crack resounded and a part of the wall at our left was opened like a door. Damian intertwined our fingers and we walked slowly inside the dark room. The wall/ door closed behind us. We were completly in the dark.

'' And what now ? ''Damian asked.

  '' Where does this quote come from ? : Tomorrow I die and today I would unburthen my soul ''
