The Awards Pt 2

We finally arrived to the awards. The kids bickering has made me a headache.

I let them go out first and I followed not before saying thank you to the driver. The flashes of the cameras waa the only thing that I could see. I grabbed my kids and got escorted to the red carpet.

Picture time.

I took some photos by myself, with the twins, and the twins individually. Ivy was giving everyone she seen her pearly smile that was smilar to her father's.

We started to walk toward entrance of the theater until I heard my name being called.

"Ashlynn Martinez", said a cheerful familiar voice. I turned around and saw Emma walking towards us with Zack trailing behind her.

"I better be the god mother or your child will never meet his or her mother", I said.

"Dont worry your the only one for that job", she said reassuring me. "Also meet my husband I've been talking to you about, Zack Black meet Ashlynn Martinez, vise versa."

Zack looked at me uncomfortably. "We've met before.....", I said. Emma looked confused then realization appeared across her face.

"Well this is awkward...", she said.

"Nice to you again, also trust me I believe that they're his kids but he's too blind to see it", Zack said.

I looked up at him and smiled. "Than-", I started to say until I got interrupted. 

"Whose blind?", asked a very familiar voice. 

His voice. The voice that broke me that day.  The man that showed me men can't ever be trusted and they believe anything they are told.

He stopped and glared at me. I simply returned the glare. I felt a tug on my clothes.  I looked down and it was Isaac.

"Mommy I need to go to the bathroom", whined Isaac.

I nodded at him. "I'll see you later Emma and Zack", I said dismissing myself. 

I grabbed hold of my kids hands and walked toward the rest room.

Xavier's POV:

The news of my brother's wife's pregnancy had sparked every headline.

When i was finally finished taking pictures and interviews I decided to find my brother.

I spotted him taking to someone with his wife. As I got closer I heard something blind. "Whose blind?", I asked.

I stopped dead in my tracks and saw who was there. Ashlynn Martinez. My ex-wife. The girl that made me believe love isn't true.

I glare at her which resulted in her glaring back at me. My glaring session was stopped when a little boy started pulling on her shirt.

I looked down and saw a little boy with brown hair and hazel eyes. He looked oddly familiar.

"Mommy I need to use the bathroom?", he asked her. She nodded at him then turned back to us.  "I'll see you later Emma and Zack", then she left. 

"Your an asshole", said Emma. I looked at her confused. She let out a loud sigh. 

"They're clearly your kids. Isaac looks like an exact copy of you while Ivy looks like you and Ashlynn combined. Open your eyes and stop putting my best friend in heartbreak", she practically yelled at me.

"I agree with her. Theres no denying it", said a shrugging Zack. "Well those voice recordings and pictures don't agree with that", I said glaring at them.

"Well they can lie and someone could have sabotaged your relationship intentionally", argued Emma.

I rolled my eyes. Since when were these two friends?

"Come on Emma we have to go get our seats see you later brother", said Zack leading his wife away.

Emma's words rang through my head.  Was Ashlynn telling the truth and I didn't believe her?

I shook my head and ignored those kind of thoughts. 

Ashlynn's POV:

I can't believe he's here. Well actually why wouldn't he be here. After Isaac washed his hands we walked into the auditorium and found our seats.

"Ashlynn!", yelled a voice. I trailed the voice to Sara.  I smiled at get and got the kids seated. "Aye looking good", I said.

She laughed and thanked me. "I seen him and it took me the slightest hair not to yell at him", she said.

"Oh we've encountered each other", I said turning to my attention to the announcer. "Tonight we'll do our gossip", she said ending the convo.

"Good evening ladies and gentleman!", said Kevin Hart.

Let the awards begin.
