His Family

They started announcing the winners of multiple awards. The last award was the most successful female and male CEO of the year.

I held hands with Sara as we waited for them announce the female CEO.

"And the winner for 'Most Successful Female CEO is...... ASHLYNN MARTINEZ!!!", yelled Kevin.

Omg this is not happening. A roar of cheers erupted. I got up shocked. Sara was congratulating me as I walked through the chairs.

"Ivy Fashion", chanted my crew. I had the biggest smile on my face appear in years.

I walked up the stage stairs and accepted my award. I turned to look at the audience and started my speech.

"Omg I can't believe this is happening.   I don't even know where to start. Actually I lied. Xavier thanks for the kids and divorce, Sam your my sister I've never had, my crew your the best people I've known and expect a party tomorrow,my kids mommy loves you but you know daddy he's too idiotic to, and to my parents, friends, and over protective brothers your my biggest supporters", I finished with a smile.

I gave the mic back Kevin. "Best speech to the date. And now the 'Most Successful Male CEO is.... XAVIER BLACK!" Oohs and gasps filled the room.

Xavier walked up to the stage with a quieter cheers than mine.

That's right I'm more lit than rude guy.

He started his speech and I started to day dream.

Flashback:
Tonight was the awards and Xavier was absolutely nervous. I've never seen him like that.

I walked over to him and massaged his shoulders. "Don't worry", I told him. "What if I don't win. My parents will be upset", he said.

"No they won't now relax we're here", I said.

He smiled at me. He got out of the limo and helped me out. "This is why your the only one I love", after he said that he pulled me into a kiss.

I accepted the kiss. Camera clicks and awws were heard.

Flashback over

"Right Ashlynn?", he said. I snapped out of my day dream. I noticed everyone was looking at me.

I turned crimson red. "Uhh what?", I asked. He chuckled. "And you see that what I had to deal with", he said.

Oh okay then two can play.

"I'm sorry but I only listen to important stuff not irrelevant things", I shot back.

The crowd seemed to enjoy our argument but sadly it had to end so we all can head home. Tomorrow was the award dinner.

I exited off the stage with Xavier walking behind me. When I reached my seat Sara starting talking.

"That was amazing!", she exclaimed. I smiled.  Slowly everyone started to exit. Sara, the kids, and I made our way to my family.

"There's my baby girl!", exclaimed my dad. I smiled and gave him a hug. "Hi daddy", I said. My dad broke the hug.

"Now where's my grandkids?", he asked. "Grandpa!!", yelled my kids as they jumped into his arms.

I smiled at the little reunion. Then I noticed figures behind my family.

Max my ex-father in law cleared his throat. My brothers and brother in law seemed to notice and placed me behind them.

"Hey!", I yelled at my brother Sebastian. I hit his back. "Owww gesh Ashlynn!", he whined.

I pushed through them. "Man up", I said. I turned and faced the Blacks.

"And what have we done to grace your presence?", I asked. I stared down and Max.

He looked surprised but recovered and got back to his serious face. "We wanted to congratulate you on your win", he said.

I felt the glares and ugly looks I was getting from them. I had to fight back my smile. "Thank you and congratulations also", I said with a blank face.

They seemed shocked at how smoothly I took the situation. I heard whispering behind me.

Ignored it. Suddenly Ivy and Issac came to my sides. They looked up and stared at Max.

"Why are you staring at my mommy she's taken", said Issac. I smiled. I saw that Xavier stiffen.

Max seemed amused. "And who are you little ones?", he asked. "Don't stare at my sister she's taken also", threatened Issac.

I laughed. Everyone seemed to be amused but Xavier. That's right leave us alone. "Come on mommy", said Issac as he started pushing me out of the room.

I heard the laughter of my family as they walked out behind us. "Fuck the Blacks", said Sara a little loud so that they can hear.

"Agreed", I sais at the same loudness.
We pushed right through the paparazzi and everyone headed home.

When we reached the house I put the kids to bed and had my gossip session with Sara.

We talked till it was late and fell alseep on her bed.
