Need You

Oh Boy

I woke up and felt an arm wrapped around my waist. I turned my head and to my surprise I seen Xavier sleeping next to me. I thought he would've left after my breakdown but in the end he stayed. I carefully removed his arm and got out of bed. I took a shower then quietly left the room to make breakfast. When we were a couple he would always wake up before me and workout for a couple hours then make breakfast for the both of us. He loved the gym in our house. He had it customized to his liking and sometimes I thought he loved the gym more than me. I honestly think he did. Back to my breakfast, I decided on making a breakfast burrito and a smoothie. As the eggs were cooking I went on my phone to pass time. I realized I got an unknown call from someone and Xavier answered it. I wonder who it was I guess I should ask him later. 

I called my job and took a personal day because honestly I don't have any energy for any phone calls or people work related at all. It might sound like I am being a entitled person but some days we all need a break from life and need a me day to recover. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and I turned my attention to the stairs. I seen Xavier walking down the stairs with his keys. "Stay for breakfast then you can go wherever you wanted to go," I said. He looked at me with a hint of surprise. He looked hesitant then he agreed. I turned back to the food and continued cooking. 

Xavier's POV:

She invited me to stay for breakfast. I guess you can say this is progress between us and we're actually going to have a civilized meal together with our children. I watched her as she cooked the breakfast she was making. Her focused face as she was cutting up the fruit for the smoothie. I used to cook breakfast for us and she would make lunch. Dinner on the other hand we cooked together. It was a way for us to bond and enjoy each other's company after a long day at work. It helped me lose all my stress that was built up and honestly I loved it. 

I missed what we had. Even though many people around us didn't like our relationship, I loved what we were. We didn't let anyone stop us from doing what we wanted. Well, at least she did while I on the other hand let a photo change my entire life. I'm on the hunt to find out who made the photo and why did they do it. Whoever they are, they're going to pay once I figure it out. I looked down at my hands and played with them to pass time. I felt like I was intruding in the life she finally perfected. A life where she didn't need me in. 

She broke my thoughts by asking me a question. I looked up at her. "What? Sorry I wasn't paying attention," I said. "Do you think..that maybe later in life...we could fix everything and go back to what we had?", she asked. I am surprised. "Well...we could try," I answered. Since her back was to me I couldn't see her reaction to my answer. She nodded then resumed quietly back to cooking. I never thought she would ever ask me that question. 

Ashlynn's POV:

I did not just ask him what I think I just asked him. What the hell is going on right now? He even agreed with me. Oh my god what am I going to put myself through again. I stayed calm and focused on cooking the breakfast. I had him go wake up the kids and we had our breakfast. "Is daddy going to stay?", asked Issac. I shrugged not knowing the answer. It's his schedule not mine so how would I know that. He then asked Xavier that to which he told him that he was going to stay. Boy I thought you had things to do aren't you like extra busy now a days.  

The kids got excited after hearing the news. "Can we go to Disneyyy?," asked Ivy. Disney and Ivy aren't a good combination because she goes wild there. She wants to go on every ride and try every type of food there in order to feel satisfied with the trip. Once I took her for a birthday gift and my bank card got declined because my bank didn't believe it was me spending all that money at Disney. 

"Ask your mom," Xavier told her. She turned to me and practically begged for me to take her. I sighed knowing this is a bad idea but I gave in and said yes. Well this is going to be an interesting day. 

I cleaned the kitchen as my kids got dressed and Xavier went to go change at his house. I changed and got everything ready by the time Xavier got back. The beep of his car alerted us that he was outside. I double checked everything and went outside with the kids. He aided me with putting the kids in their seats and then we were off to Disney where we will endure many hours of torture from our kids. I hope he is ready for this.

By the way I think I might change Xavier's name. I don't know yet. Let me know if I should and what I should rename him.
