Chapter: 11 Emma's Trust returns

<Emma's Pov>

I walked out of the gym with a triumphant smile on my face. It had been two days since me and Silver had that talk and since then he had returned to his usual, snappy self and I had returned to being quiet and secretive. I honestly didn't know what he thought of me... Was he angry at me for forgetting about him? Or was he caught up in his own problems? He obviously forgot about me or at least didn't recognise me... I walked to the Pokemon centre. Silver had, had his battle yesterday. Honestly Roark was easy to beat. Buuut it may have something to do with the fact that I only used Celeana who was a legendary... Meh, I won fair and square, nuf said.

I walked in to the Pokemon centre and into mine and Silvers room. Silver was sitting on his bed holding the parcel that I was given in Jubalife City in his hands. So he had brought it with him... I must admit I was curious what was in it. Silver looked up at me and held it up to me.

"Do you at least want to open it?" He asked.

I sighed

"Fine." Okay I did want to open it see what I got I had never been big on presents, I more cared about the thought that went into it.

Slowly I unwrapped the pink tissue paper to reveal a white box. Slowly I opened the lid, half expecting it to blow up in my face... It didn't as far as I could tell there were two items in the box. I set the lid down and picked up the first. It was a small sapphire blue book. I opened it up to the the first page it was blank apart from some neat writing in the top right hand side, it read;

To my darling Emma
I have watched you grow from a little baby in to the strong girl you are today and I made this photo album so you could watch yourself grow as I have done, love mummy.

Already I had tears in my eyes but I flipped through it any way there were quiet a few of me and Silver most were of me on my own but the last photo was about half way throw the album of me on my 5th birthday.

Silver was by my side both our faces covered in cake and I was fighting to get a party hat on his head my blue one had been knocked off and was messed up with my light brown hair we both had massive smiles on our faces... this was just before my mother went on her business trip when my father started to abuse me.

I shook my head slightly trying to clear out the memories, gently I put down the book and picked up an even smaller white box out of the box. I opened it and in it was a beautiful necklace it had a silver chain with a small heart shaped pendent the pendent was rimed in amethyst with a light blue sapphire in the middle. I just stared at it. It was beautiful. Gently I closed the box and looked in the bigger one and found one more item a shrunk Pokéball. I held it I the palm of my hand. What Pokemon was in it... It couldn't be Crescent I gave her to Destiny before I left Sinnoh as a token to remember me by and as a promise that I would come back.

Slowly I chucked the ball into the air. Silver watching my every move. the ball opened and revealed the Pokemon inside. I imediently burst into tears. Inside the Pokéball was an Eevee not just any Eevee.

It was Trust.
