Chapter 46 The ball

>Silver's Pov<

The battle continued to rage on. I had noticed Red awhile ago battling with his Charzard and Entei out side the force field. My Feraligator was also battling with them.

Blade was starting to sweat, he flinched each time the force field was hit with an attack.

I looked down at my younger sister. She was still breathing fast and hard but at the same time slow an un even. Blood was still coming out of the bullet wound.

How long could we keep this up?

We needed to get Emma to hospital fast.

I looked over at Cyrus, who just stood there. Showing no remorse that his daughter was dieing of blood loss.

Cyrus started to walk towards the force field, he stopped right in front.

I glared at him, if Emma didn't need me right now I'd be strangling him.

He seemed amused. He looked as if he was about to say somthing when a hydro pump knocked him into a wall.

I looked at my Feraligator and smirked at him.

Note to self- Give Feraligator a treat later.

"Retreat!!!"

I don't know who said it but I was thankful that they did.

"Blade drop the force field! we've got to get Emma to a hospital!"

Blade dropped the force field and ran to my side.

He put his hand above mine, were the bullet wound would be and closed his eyes.

He looked at me and picked Emma up. I stood up to, making sure to keep pressure on the wound.

Red ran to my side. "What happened!?"

"Emma was shot." I replied. "I'm going to get her to a hospital, you tell the others."

He nodded and Blade and myself ran from the building.

When we got out side there was an ambulance. One of the doctors noticed me and Blade and he took Emma from my arms and place her on a stretcher and they loaded her onto the ambulance.

The doctor signalled for me to follow. Me and Blade jumped on one of the little seats in the ambulance and it took off towards the hospital.

Not much longer Emma, just hold on!

>Emma's Pov<

<Some time later>

Me and Night just sat there. In the "middle" we didn't know how much time had past or how long we had left.

"What do you think's happening?" Night asked, breaking the silence

I shrugged. "Don't know... I hope every one's ok." I sighed.

"You're worried about all of them when your sitting here dieing?" She said amused.

I nodded and closed my eyes. "They're the closest thing I have to family... besides Clair and my Pokemon of course... I wonder what they were after..."

"You?"

"... Maybe... but it doesn't feel right. Why would Cyrus try to shoot Silver if he was after me?"

"To stop him from interfering?"

"I don't know, I just hope there all ok..." I said, I missed them all a lot even though I'd only been here for what, a few hours? Days? I didn't know, time seemed endless here.
