Ok Emma, concentrate you can do this! Just ignore Cyrus, just focus on the battle.

I breathed out deeply and watched Trust use the bug type move on Silver's Weevile.

It hit. knocking Weevile back

"Weevile! Shake it off and use Shadow ball!"

"Counter it with your own, then get in close and use Iron tail!" I countered

Trust nodded briefly and countered Weevile's Shadow ball making a small explosion, then using the smoke as coverage got in close and used Iron tail to knock back Weevile.

"Weevile get up and use dark pulse."

"Jump!" I ordered

Trust leapt over the attack and used Signal beam on Weevile.

"Weevile get up and use ice-beam to slow Trust down."

Weevile used the attack just as Trust landed, Freezing her to the ground.

"Now get in close and use Shadow claw!"

How was I going to get out of this? I needed to melt that ice... But how?

A cloud moved away from the sun allowing it to shine brighter on the feild... wait the sun!

"Trust, morning sun!"

She nodded and the jewel on her head started to glow and the sun grew brighter and warmer as the ice around Trust's feet melted. but unfortunately not quick enough for her dodge and she got hit by the super effective Shadow claw.

Trust got up shakily but still stood.

"K Trust get up and show them our bond, use Return!"

Trust covered her paw in white light and charged in on Weevile knocking him down and out.

"AND WEEVILE IS UNABLE TO BATTLE! EMMA IS IN THE LEAD WITH 1 TO NOTHIN'!!! WILL SILVER BE ABLE TO OVERCOME EMMA'S EARLY LEAD!!!???" Fred shouted.

I rolled my eyes, every one can see that I won why did he have to say it?

I nodded to Hope to take her place in battle as Trust trotted back to my side.

"Kingdra!" Silver let out his Pokemon

"AND IT'S EMMA'S SHINY UMBREON VS SILVER'S KINGDRA!" Seriously SHUT THE HELL UP FRED!!!

"K Hope, get in close with dig!"

Hope buried her way under ground leaving Kingdra dumb struck looking left and right trying to find where Hope would come up.

Hope came up from underneath Kingdra and head butted her. Hope landed on her feet and awaited my next order.

"AND THE BATTLE IS NOW TIED AT TWO ALL THE WINNER OF THIS ROUND WILL BE THIS YEARS WINNER AND GETS A SHOT TO BATTLE THE CHAMPION!!!"

We had been battling for hours and this was the last battle. I had won two battles, so had Silver and we had tied twice leaving this battle the decider.

I took another glance at Cyrus. He had a blank expression on, making it impossible to tell how he felt about this all.

I turned back to my battle. I had a sick feeling in my stomach but with so much at stake I wasn't about to zone out on my Pokemon. Not at the deciding round, the final battle.
