King Flame is now inside his room in the Ice Palace. A minute later and his sons came in.

"Father," they said, greeting him.

"Xin Jue since when did the youngest Ice prince and Yan Da became very close?"

"When we came here, we found them sleeping under the cherry blossom tree and because the healer said that only Prince Shi can

calm her. They've spent the past days together even becoming closer than before."

"Hmm...I see." Huo Yi said, thoughtfully.

"Father, do you have something in mind?" Shuo Gang asked, seeing the glint in his father's eyes.

Instead of answering, the fire king just smiled deviously.

With Yan Da...

She's in her room, thinking. What am I going to do? How am I going change things? It's not only father that I have to watch out for but Ying Kong Shi's father as well. He's probably somewhere in here. Watching and waiting... If only I have the ability to detect him...how?

She was so concentrated on her thoughts that she didn't notice the young ice prince who was trying to get her attention. "Yan Da?" he called out for the third time. When she didn't answer, Shi sighed. A naughty smile then formed on his lips.

Going in front of the fire princess, he leaned in. Giving her an eskimo kiss. He stayed like that for a while waiting for her reaction. He let out a soft laugh when he saw her eyes widen in surprise, meeting his amused ones. "Ying Kong Shi!?"

"Pfft...hahahaha," Shi laughed, distancing himself from her. "That's what you get for ignoring me."

The fire princess glared, pursing her lips. "Brat."

"Why are you here?"

"To check on you. That was quite a break down that you had a while ago. I thought that you're going to burn the castle down."

"Right~ because I'm that powerful."

Shi's eyebrow rose. "You are. Didn't you notice that even your father and my parents weren't able to stop you."

Yan Da frowned. "Honestly, I don't remember much when that happens. Aish, let's stop talking about it."

"Fine. Are you hungry?"

"Uhhh... I don't really have the appetite."

The young prince gave her an unamused look. "Nope~ You are not skipping dinner." He said, pulling her out of the room.

In the gazebo, the two had their dinner. Happily, talking to each other. Anyone could see that the two were very close. The people who knows the younger prince were surprised and happy for him. Before the fire princess came, he was mostly by himself. He did smile but rarely. Only when he was with Ka Suo that is. But now, he smiles almost every single minute.

Not far from the duo, the ice king was observing them.

"My King, are you really considering King Huo Yi's proposition?" the ice queen asked, standing beside her king. "Lotus would definitely disagree. Also, can we really trust the fire king?"

The king sighed. "I also have doubts but it's a good way to finally stop the war. Besides look at them...it's obvious that there's more than platonic feelings between them."

The queen focused her eyes on them again. She saw how their eyes lit up. Shi's soft gaze didn't leave the fire princess even once like he's completely captivated by her. Yan Da's were the same. Indeed. Those two are definitely...

It was afternoon the next day when the leaders of the different tribes came into the Ice palace. The Ice king sent them a message yesterday, night. Telling them it's an important announcement. They were all surprised when they saw the fire king in there. Flame just let out an arrogant smirk, seeing their expressions.

"Good afternoon, everyone. You must be all curious as to why I all called you in here and as to why King Huo Yi is here." The ice king started, looking at his subjects. When he saw that they were attentively listening he continued." Yesterday, we had an intensive conversation and we had an agreement. The fire tribe is now an ally of the fire tribe."

"I mean no disrespect, Your Majesty. But how can we be sure that this isn't a plot of his," Liao Jian asked, giving the fire king a glare. The other tribe leaders nodded.

Flame put on a calm face but inside he is seething. He never did like the bear king. "Would I really agree to a marriage if my intentions were something else?" He returned.

"What do you mean?" Xing Jiu asked.

"Your Highness..." the fire king said to the ice king, letting him answer the question.

"From now on, let it be known to all that my youngest son Prince Ying Kong Shi is now officially engage to the fire king only daughter Princess Yan Da."

Lotus was about to protest but the ice king gave her a firm stare, stopping her. Yan Da and Ying Kong Shi gasped in shock. The fire princess's forehead then creased. Her eyes met her father's devious smirk.

"Father!" Yan Da yelled in anger. She was now in a room with him.

"Why are you so angry? Aren't you glad that you're marrying the one you like?" the fire king said, mockingly.

"Stop it, father. We both know that you didn't do this just to see me get married."

Flame smirked. "Very good. You are indeed my daughter. I do have big plans. Yan Da just play the role of a happily engage princess."

Yan Da clenched her fists. She's boiling inside but she has to stay in his good side for now. Especially, when she didn't know his plans yet. "Of course, father."

She said then left the room.

Outside...

She let out a frustrated sigh. What now? Should I just go with the flow? What am I going to do?
