"Uhhhhhh...what just happened?" Virgil was shocked by what had just occurred.
"Virgil, you literally just witnessed-"
"No. That's not what I meant." He cut Logan off.
"Well what's going to happen?" Thomas asked. "Is Roman going to 'duck out?'"
"I don't think that's what's going on." Virgil replied.
"But we are just as worried and confused as you are." Patton added. Once again, the room was silent. It seemed that no one knew what was going on. That was when Virgil broke the silence.
"I think I know what's happening." he said. "Thomas, have you felt Roman's presence a lot recently?"
"Kind of. I mean, he's been there but he hasn't been helping out that much. Or his presence is just very subtle." Thomas replied.
"I thought so." Virgil mumbled. Patton and Logan knew what this meant. "We need to find him." Logan said. "If what Virgil thinks is true, then we need to talk to him soon."
"But what's going on?" Thomas asked.
"Something is affecting Roman and he's just not...into it anymore." Patton explained. "And whatever is happening is making his presence slowly dwindle away."
"Oh no. We need to find him." Thomas said nervously. "Maybe we could check his room first..."
"Then you know what to do." Patton said and soon the four of them started this part of the journey.

Roman's 'room' seemed very colorful and regal, but it also seemed empty and uncharacteristically messy.
"Do you guys feel that?" Thomas asked.
"You mean that eerie feeling?" Virgil asked. "Then yeah."
"Why is it so empty though?" Thomas thought out loud.
"Exactly what I'm wondering." Logan muttered.
"Guys..." everyone turned to face Patton. "I don't think he's here."
