Thomas and Virgil tried everything they could to find a way out. Even just thinking positive thoughts or thinking being back in the apartment wasn't working. Roman was getting worse. He was getting paler and colder. He was not waking up soon and even if he did, he wasn't in any shape to help solve the problem.

"It's up to Patton and Logan to get us out of here." Thomas said.
"Do you think they noticed that we're trapped?"
"Yeah probably."

Meanwhile...

Logan and Patton met up in the apartment again.
"They should be back by now. It's not supposed to be so hard to get out of a room." Patton sighed.
"I know." Logan responded. "We need to help them. Patton looked up at Logan.
"How?" he asked. The two of them pondered the question.

Back to the room

"Virge?"
"Yeah?"
"What happens if we don't get out?"
The anxious side was quiet. "I don't know." He whispered, "but it won't be good."
"What'll we do?" Thomas asked.
"Hope for the best..." Virgil responded.

Back in the apartment

"We can't both go in there. We could be trapped!" Patton exclaimed.
"I know!" Logan yelled. "But if we just think about them coming back, that might not work!"
Patton thought for a second. "Maybe one of us could go and then we could both think about getting out or something...?"
"Patton, that actually might work!" Logan exclaimed. "You should go since you'll probably be least affected. I'm guessing that you'll only have two minutes. Also, one more thing."
"Yeah?"
"Do try to be careful."

Back in the room.

Thomas and Virgil were beginning to lose hope. They were about to accept the fate of being trapped there when someone ran up to them. The two of them smiled in relief as Patton approached them.
"We're going back but we need to leave now." he said, more serious than usual.
"I'd love to do that," Virgil said, "but Roman was refusing to go and now..." he gestured towards the unconscious Prince.
"Don't worry. I've got him." Patton attempted to pick up Roman and then slung him over his shoulder. Thomas's and Virgil helped him concentrate and soon the group was back in the apartment.

"Oh no..." Logan mumbled once Thomas and Virgil explained the events that took place in the last chapter.
"This is really bad." Patton whispered.
"Wait. None of us sensed that something was wrong." Thomas said nervously. "This could've been going on for much longer!"
"You're right." A weak voice came from the far side of the room. "You didn't notice."
