Roman and Virgil never returned. As a result, Patton and Logan overworked themselves for days. There were times when they wished the two of them would come back but soon the traits lost hope. Their presence wasn't as effective as before since they had to take on twice the amount of work.
A while after Roman and Virgil disappeared, Patton and Logan went to meet up in the mind palace. Except for one problem. Patton wasn't there. Logan tried to visit his room but it was blocked off. Just like the last time they tried to go to Roman's room. Patton had given up. Logan was all alone. Even if he tried to leave he couldn't. He was the voice of reason. He'd basically be trapped all alone. Well, there were the others but they wouldn't show up yet.
Finally, all of his feelings were pouring out. He had lost his family and couldn't do anything about it. He'd never see them again. Logan knew that he needed to stay but he couldn't control the fogginess that was spreading across the mind palace. He coughed out the words "I'm sorry," before everything faded into darkness.
