When Virgil, Logan, and Patton appeared again, Thomas was alone.
"Did you guys talk?" Virgil asked. He looked towards Roman's usual spot, realizing that he wasn't there.
"He's gone again?" Virgil exclaimed. "We literally just got him back!"
Thomas looked at him with an unreadable expression. "He just kinda...left."
"Well now we're back at the start of all this." Logan sighed. "What happened?"
"He didn't feel like he was being heard..."
"What do you-" Virgil trailed off, realizing what Thomas meant. "It was our fault this time! I know I messed up but what did you do?" he asked Logan and Patton.
"I didn't respond to well when Roman was trying to talk and I left pretty quickly." That left Patton.
"I may have given him the impression that we thought he was faking it but I knew that he wasn't." Patton explained quickly.
"He wasn't faking it" Thomas mumbled.
The three sides looked over at Thomas, realizing that something else was wrong.
"Thomas, are you okay?" Virgil asked.
"I guess. I'm just out of it now." Thomas mumbled.
Virgil looked at the others nervously. "He's gone." he practically whispered.
"Gone? What do you mean?" Thomas asked.
"Try to get us to Roman's room." Logan said.
Thomas thought for a moment but nothing happened. He looked at the ground in defeat.
"This is all my fault." Virgil whispered.
"Kiddo, don't say that. It wasn't you." Patton said.
"You're right, Patton." Virgil said. "It was all of us. We should have stayed and listened instead of interrupting Roman and abandoning him when he needed us the most. I can't believe we acted that way!"
"Virgil-"
"I don't deserve to be called that anymore." he mumbled as he begun to sink down. "Call me never."

"What are we gonna do?" Patton almost cried. "Both Roman and Virgil are gone!"
"I don't know..." Logan mumbled.
The two of them looked over at Thomas. Both his creativity and anxiety were gone and the state he was in was not good. He didn't notice the worried glances of the two sides.
"We can't do this!" Patton was on the verge of tears. "If we didn't leave, this wouldn't have happened!"
Logan tried to calm the parental trait down.
"Yes. We did make the mistake and maybe it's only us now but if we go, who knows what good will happen? We're logic and morality. If we leave, it will be down to the others! That basically means that we're the last hope. I know that this will be tricky but just because Roman and Virgil are gone doesn't mean that we should leave too." There was a silence between the two sides. They knew that they at least had to try.
