I went to go wipe his face with my sleeve but he jerked his head away. "What's going on Carl? You didn't even know my mom. Hell you told me you didn't even cry when you found out yours was dying. Whats going on?" I put my hand on his chest comfortingly. The other running my fingers through his hair, hopefully soothing him. He took my hands off of him. "I... I... did something."  I scrunched my brows together. "What are you talking about? What'd you do?" He shook his head. Then looked lost. "Carl? Come on you can tell me." instead of answering, He stood up, apologized and walked out of my room.

Completely lost, i followed him. "Carl!" I shouted as he walked out of the front door, completely ignoring my worried family. "What the hell was that?" I shouted again. Nothing. He just ran back to the Gallagher home. Now i was annoyed. I hated being ignored, i mean come on who actually likes that? I walked back into the house and sat down on the couch. Amy gave me a hug and instantly gave me a big smile. I gave her a little pat on the back and turned on the tv. The True Blood Season 1 dvd was in. "What was that all about?" V asked with a confused look plastered on her face. I shrugged. "we were watching horror movies and he had tears coming down his face. When i asked about it he got up and left." I spoke nonchalant, like it didn't bug me. I could basically hear the curiosity bursting out of my aunt. Actually, i did hear it. "That is honestly so weird. Why would he do something like that? Ill ask Fiona if she knows anything. Want to come with?" I shook my head at her. "I'll be fine here. Thank you though." I smiled at her before she left out the door.

"I told you Gallaghers are strange." My uncle called from the kitchen. "Ramen?" I nodded standing up from the couch and walked to the kitchen. "How are you? You know dealing with all of this? She was your sister. Even though you disowned us." I laughed at the end. Showing i understood. He smiled down at me with his goofy grin. "I'm fine. Plus i didn't disown you or your brothers. Just her." He handed me a bowl of ramen then we both walked out to the living room. "So, how are you holding up?" i shrugged at his question and filled my mouth with ramen noodles to the point i had chipmunk cheeks. No way i could talk then. Kev started laughing and mimicking the chipmunk cheeks. It threw us both into laughing fits and me snapchatting the whole ordeal.

"I know i've said it so many times already, but i really do appreciate everything you and V are doing for me." I stated when we could finally settle down. "Anything for family. Are you planning on teaching theater? or assistant teaching like you always talked about?" I shrugged again. Honestly i had no idea what i wanted to do anymore. Everything has changed. "Maybe i will. I'l go see if a high school is looking for a TA. " I said after a moment of thought. "Can i use your computer?" They nodded and i went online to find the nearest high school. When i found the nearest one with a theater program. Before i got up to leave, V walked into the room with Carl by the ear. "tell her!" She yelled at him. She was pissed. "I... i set a hit on your mom... i didn't know they were gonna kill her. i just wanted to scare her." My face was burning red with anger. "i told them specifically just mess up wherever she was staying. I'm so sorry." i shook my head vigorously. I wasn't mad she was dead, but i was that he had something to do with it. I stood up, walked over to him, right hooked him in the face, and left for the high school.

The whole walk to the high school, i kept having arguments with my thoughts, not out loud obviously. He said he hadn't meant for them to kill her, just to scare her. Still, he should have stayed out of it. It didn't involve him. Also, how did he even know where she lived? I felt bad dating the person behind my mothers death. I would have never of wished death upon  anyone. Then again, the thought that kept coming back to me was, he didn't mean for it to be death or pain.  I was still angry however. I wanted him to know, too.

I reached the concrete steps to the school doors and took a deep breath. I got this. I smiled to myself. The moment i walked into the empty school, being summer and all, i quickly found the secretary sitting in her chair. Grey haired, smiling. "Im here to maybe apply to be a TA for the theater teacher?" She smiled even brighter. "Do you have a teaching degree?" I shook my head, nervous. She frowned but then smiled again. "Well neither did our last theater teacher. she just got fired for sleeping with a student... in the building. Would you be willing to teach here? We will help you get your theater teaching degree in a matter of seconds. Do you have experience?" What the hell was up with Chicago schools? letting anyone teach. "I would be interested. i used to help teach a middle school class and i coached my high schools soccer team. I can also pass a background screening." She smiled even brighter and her perfectly whitened teeth sparkled. "Well, fill out this form, turn it in and we will probably call you before the end of summer." I smiled back at her and took the packet, filling out all the questions, turned them in and then left. I didn't know where i was going, but i did know i wasn't going back to the house and taking the chance of running into Carl.
