It is Thursday and it is Sasha's birthday. She is to be turning thirteen. Elizabeth goes to Sasha's room with breakfast,since it is Sasha's birthday, she will have breakfast in bed.

Entering Sasha's bedroom, Elizabeth keeps the tray on a coffee table and goes straight to open the window. "Wakie wakie dear",Beth said with happiness." Hmmmm! Mum please can I sleep for a while longer, Sasha said with her eyes closed ". "No way dear. It's your birthday and I have brought breakfast for you,beth said. Still hesitating, Elizabeth proceeded to shake Sasha." I said wake up girl,you are wasting my time,Elizabeth said in anger.

Getting up,Sasha rubs her eyes and yawns.she goes to brush her teeth and took the tray from her mum. After dressing Sasha goes out of her room wearing a yellow sun flower dress. She has always liked the gown,but since her mum doesn't like it,she hardly wear it." Since today is my birthday I am wearing this gown,Sasha mumbled to herself.

The whole house looked beautiful. So many decorations were done. Sasha is excited that all her friends will attend the party,especially Aaric Miller. He is her best friend. Aaric leaves two blocks from Sasha's compound. "Sasha! What are you wearing? Beth asked furiously. I have told you that I don't want to ever see you in that mediocre cloth. Elizabeth has always been concerned with class." Now go and change before I smack you." " but mum I love this dress, Sasha said with sadness in her eyes. Please let me wear it she said. "No no no!" You can't wear that. That piece of rag you are wearing came from that poor aunt of yours,sheila.A woman who can barely take care of herself sent you that dress. I don't know if she can't send something expensive for her only niece.

Now before I get angry go and change. If you don't go now,I promise that I will not only smack you, but I will rip that cloth off you and burn it,Elizabeth said with rage in her eyes.Sasha with tears in her eyes, goes to change. She is used to her mum's behaviour now .Elizabeth can not shut her mouth when it came to insulting. Kent has always warned her that one day she will pay for her words.

After changing in to a blue dress with diamonds sew to the neckline,she goes to the kitchen to present herself to her mum. "Now that's better, beth said smiling. The birthday is going fine. A lot of people have come to celebrate with Sasha. Aaric also comes. He immediately goes to give Sasha her gift." Oh my! Sasha said with surprise." Thank you for the gift Aaric ". I really appreciate it.
