CHAPTER 3💜💜💜

After the cake ceremony. Sasha ensured that she danced since it is her special day. Sasha stopped dancing when her mum called on her,"Sasha dear please come",beth called on her daughter. " yes mum am coming "Sasha said.

Following her mum outside the house. Sasha sees a nan dressed in tailored suit holding a boy. A boy her age or older than her. This man was conversing with her father.

Reaching her father's side, she held his hands and looked at the strange man." Sweety! This is Duke Moore. He is the duke of Avebury boulevard, her dad said". Also,this is his son Aaron.

Greetings were exchanged and Sasha was asked to take Aaron inside the cottage. While going inside,Sasha looks over her shoulder and notices her parents with a wide grin on their faces.

Inside the house.Aaron looks around the house and is instantly disgusted with how it looks .Aaron moore is the son of the Duke. He goes to one of the best schools outside Avebury boulevard. " hey! "Aaron said trying to get Sasha's attention." Turning her attention to Aaron, Sasha replies by saying hello".

"I just wanted to say happy birthday, Aaron said". So how old are you now? Aaron asked with a smirk on his face, while looking at her from up to down.

" well I am thirteen, sasha said a bit annoyed at the look he is giving her. She was about to say another word when she is cut off by Aaric. "I just wanted to say good bye. I have to go home, Aaric said."

"Ooh! Thank you for coming Aaric. I really appreciate it,Sasha said". Before leaving Aaric hugs Sasha. The hug made her heart flutter and made butterflies fill her stomach. This is a feeling she didn't understand.

After separating,Sasha could not help but smile widely." Ehhen" that sound made Sasha remember that Aaron is beside her."so can I get something drink, Aaron asked ". " oh yes,let me go get you orange juice ",Sasha said before leaving.

"Offering the drink to Aaron, Sasha wonders why the duke had come to see her parents".

Outside the cottage
Sasha's parents had a wide grin on their faces due to what the duke had offered. Elizabeth and Kent had borrowed money from the Duke for Kent's treatment. The Duke had offered to leave the money but,they must give Sasha's hand in marriage to his son.
" looking at each other, the parents agree to the Duke's proposal. Elizabeth cannot contain her joy of being the mother in law to the Duke's son. The fame and prestige she will get is something she can't turn down ".

" oh! Duke, when our dear daughter turns 23 we will ensure she marries your son,Elizabeth said. Also, you must take care of her,Kent added".
" of course I will. I am the Duke and I will take care of her because my son likes her".

"Back inside the cottage, the party was over and everyone had left. Sasha ran upstairs just to go and open her gifts,especially the one from Aaric. Opening the gift, it turns out to be a novel on romance. It also had a poem attached to it".

"Smiling widely, Sasha falls on her bed hugging the book to her chest".
