CHAPTER 12

One week later

Sasha had been at home throughout for a week. Most of the times, she goes to the market, the library or to her father's farm.

She felt tired and unproductive. A week had gone and she is still in Avebury boulevard.

Sasha didn't expect Avebury to be lively until she bumps in to someone.
Someone unexpected.

"hello Sasha!",a stranger called out to her. Sasha turns her direction towards this strange man. She looks directly at him with surprise in her eyes. She didn't know the stranger,but his eyes looked familiar.

She felt like she had seen those beautiful eyes before. The stranger had turquoise blue eyes endowed with long and curly eye lashes. His eyebrows were perfectly arced and full. He looked like the definition of perfection.

He looked smart in his casual wear,consisting of a lacoste shirt and denim jeans. His shoes,boots instead clearly showed that they were from Gucci's collection.

Sasha could not help but take in his appearance as he approaches her.
"hello! ",the stranger said with a smile.

"hi!",Sasha said almost tongue tied.

"how are you?. It has been ages since I last saw you",the stranger said with excitement in his voice.

"I don't understand what you mean by (it has been ages since you last saw me)",Sasha said wearing a surprised look on her face.

The look given by her eyes made the stranger lost. He didn't pay attention to her complaint.

The sound of someone snapping their fingers drew The stranger out of his trance.

"oh I am sorry. Am supposed to introduce myself",the stranger said.

"I am Aaron Moore, son of Duke Moore",the stranger remarked.

Sasha ears shot out after hearing that the man in front of her is Aaron Moore, son of duke Moore.

"what are you doing here your majesty? ",Sasha said quickly. She didn't even know the right words to use in addressing a duke.

"Actually,sasha I came out for a work and met myself here. Yes I came out without my protection, but at times one gets tired of them",Aaron said with a plastered smile on his face.

Sasha didn't say anything, since he just answered what she wanted to ask. Seeing Aaron in the market square came as a shock to her. Sasha ensured not to look directly at him.

"well, will you join me for coffee",Aaron offered. He looks at her intensely, trying to read her expression. Sasha's face is void of any noticeable expression.

"well will you? ",Aaron asked much louder.

"y-yes. I will love to join you for coffee",Sasha stammered.

Aaron's face lit up when he heard Sasha's response. He took her hand and ushered her to a nearby restaurant. The restaurant had a beautiful setting. They were flower vases at every cover(table) and rows. Expensive paintings adorned the walls. Making it looks like an art gallery.

The owner's picture was In a medium size picture frame. It was hanged firmly to the wall. A man, who seems like the reception waiter,ushered them to a well laid cover, where they will have their meal.

The reception waiter handed them over to the station waiter,who seated them. He handed them the menu,which is immediately rejected by Aaron.
"we will have coffee please. I will take a large black coffee with three cubes of sugar. Also, no milk",Aaron remarked.

"alright sir. I will get that for you. And what will the lady have?",the waiter asked in his British accent.

Sasha had been quiet the whole time. She didn't want to interrupt Aaron. Also, one of the painting in the restaurant reminded her of the painting she saw at home. The splash of colours drew her in to a trance.

"Sasha what will you have? ",a familiar voice asked her. Snapping out of her trance, Sasha is shocked by the look the British waiter and Aaron have on their faces. "is anything the problem? ",she asked concerned.

"well! We were asking about your order",Aaron said.

"oh! Well I will have a green tea",Sasha said with a smile. Her smile was quickly returned by the waiter. He even added a wink as the icing on the cake. His action made Sasha smile. It wasn't like she was new to all the tactics men use to woo women.

Ignoring everything, Sasha turns her direction towards Aaron and is shocked by the expression on his face.

" is there anything wrong Aaron",Sasha asked.

" there's nothing wrong",Aaron muttered under his breath. Just like a whisper,but loud enough for Sasha to hear.

"are you sure .....your royalty?",Sasha said by stressing the 'your royalty '.

"yeah. It is nothing", Aaron remarked.
Sasha didn't pay much attention to him. "wait, is he jealous?",Sasha thought to herself. She looks at Aaron, who was fiddling with his phone. She couldn't help but smile. Aaron didn't know her well to get jealous.

Eventually, the waiter brought the coffee and green tea. Sasha gladly took a sip from tea. Aaron did the same. Silence filled the air until Sasha decided to break it.

"so tell me Aaron, what do you do? ",Sasha asked curiously.

Clearing his throat,Aaron relied"well! I am managing my dad's business. Aaron's dad, the Duke was the first man to establish a tech company outside Avebury boulevard.

"also I went to Oxford University to study engineering",Aaron remarked.

"so what of you Sasha? ",Aaron asked.

"well, Sasha said as she cleared her throat. I went to Buckingham university and I studied accounting. Also, I am yet to find a job,sasha added.

After hours of chatting,Sasha decides to go home and Aaron offers to drop her off. Sasha accepts the invitation because she has to get home early.

Before leaving,Aaron tells Sasha that he has to do something. He spends five minutes in a room that reads highly paid staff only. Aaron comes out of the room with a wide grin on his face. He looked like he has just Won a lottery. Aaron leads her to his car, just as he was about to open the car, the British waiter came running towards them.
