CHAPTER 20

KENT & ELIZABETH'S ROOM

Kent enters his bedroom only to find Beth lying on the bed motionless. He rushes to her thinking something bad had happened.

"Beth! Beth!" Kent said fearfully.

"Stop it!stop shaking me", Beth said angrily.

"I thought something bad had happened to you", Kent said softly as he runs his fingers through Elizabeth's jet black hair.

" no way!I was just thinking ",Beth retorted as she removes Kent's hands from her hair.

" what are you thinking about?",Kent asked curiously.

"Well,I am thinking of a plan to get Sasha married yo Aaron", Beth said as she moves her body towards the frame of the bed.

"We need a cogent reason for her to stay and get married, but I am yet to find one", beth said.

" hmmmm!",Kent sighs

"Beth I am tired of the pains our daughter is going through", Kent said whilst standing up from the bed.

" our daughter hates us. she thinks we only bring pain to her. Whether she says it or not ,my daughter hates me.she sees me as a weak father who can't protect his princess ", Kent said sadly.

" we should stop all these schemes and let her live her life",Kent said abruptly.

"Pardon!", beth said rashly.

" Do you want our plans and deals to be revealed? Do you want our lives to be destroyed? Do you want our businesses to end? Do you want us to face the wrath of the Duke? "Beth asked angrily.

" if you don't then you better retract your statement and help me plan",she said apathetically.

"I don't care about that Beth. I want my daughter to be happy", Kent said in tears.

" I am tired of the injustice done to our daughter. I'm tired of her constant tears. I'm tired of her feeling alone ",Kent shouted.

" even if it means our secret will be revealed, we should end everything ",he said.

" no way darling",Beth said as she laughed for reasons known to her.

"All I have worked for will not be ruined by your silly outburst", beth said in a bitter tone.

" I will find a cogent reason for Sasha to Stay and you will convince her",beth said happily as she seats on the bed.

"Our daughter is easy to manipulate and since you the Angel to her, you must convince her. Kent I won't accept failure and I won't let my hard work go in vain", beth warned.

" Also,in your out burst of emotions, I thought of the perfect plan",beth noted with a devilish grin plastered on her face.

"What are you planning?", Kent asked weakly.

" well,it involves a sickness. I'm sure your princess will fall for it",beth said.

"I will definitely get her married, by pleas,by force and by lies", she murmured to herself.

Kent knows how determined his wife is and with her boost of confidence, he's scared at what she will do to get her way.

Sasha easily finds a taxi to take her to the park,but since it's evening, the train station will be closed. She will need to spend the night somewhere.

The taxi drops her off at the train station, she pays him and decides to sleep at a corner. Despite hotels being so close, she had the urge to sleep outside in the cold. The cold might just give her solitude she needs, since the warmth reminds her of home.

She brings out a shawl and a blanket from her suit case. It is as if she planned right from the on set that she will be sleeping outside. Laying the shawl on the floor, she climbs on it and coils up in to a ball before wrapping herself with the blanket.

Tomorrow her faith will change. Finally freedom from a life of pain. Sasha smiles to herself before falling asleep.

Hello dear readers! Finally another chapter has been updated.

So, I love the ending part, but I juts wished Sasha knew what lies ahead tomorrow.
Also, I must ask, do you think Sasha has gotten the freedom she desires?.
