The wind howled, the rain drops crashed against the windows making bullet sounds, ice made their way from the sky unto the roof of the Stone's house.
Sasha stood by the window as she absorbed the chilly weather. It made her reminisce her child hood. The days she spent with Aaric at her favorite oak tree.
"Aaric!" that name felt so foreign. It has been ages since she last saw him. Ages since her mum manifested; insulting Aaric and his mother, forcing them to leave Avebury Boulevard. There was something about this town that brings hurtful memories back to her. Every inch of the town was filled with horrors she had experienced. The reason, her mother.
Elizabeth's threats scared Sasha. The way she emphasised on getting her married to Aaron scared her. God knows what that woman can do. The thought of getting married to Aaron was scattering. The traits he showed her during his argument with the waiter told her all. Aaron wasn't a good person. He was egotistic, bossy and inconsiderate. He was nothing compared to Aaric.
"Aaric", it surprised her how much she misses him. The crush she had for him hasn't disappeared ever since he left. Sasha wondered where he was, how he is. There were so many questions she wanted answered.
The weather matched her feelings. Slowly the rain dropped on her window and slowly her tears fell down her cheeks. It was time she left this town and find sanctuary somewhere else. This down has damaged her beyond repair and she couldn't stay any longer.
"why me? ",Sasha asked herself rhetorically. She has been abused all her life and it affects her psychologically. Her bad memories laughed at her. They haunted her. So long she kept seeing Elizabeth Stone, nothing is going to be right.
Sasha motions to the mirror. Her reflection wasn't appealing. She didn't feel pretty, even if she had a beautiful jet black hair, a fully carved eyebrows, a perfect nose, eyes fully protected with full long lashes and her lips were well sculptured to perfection. She was perfect outside, but she was inferior on the inside.
So many boys crowd her, but their efforts prove abortive because of her self consciousness and lack of self confidence. Her reflection mocked her for she was a broken woman.
Looking at her body reminded her of the night she and Silver went to a club. The main reason was to get laid, which Sasha was against, but she had to accept after much persuasion.
The club was dark with odd color of lights. The music was loud, smoke every where due to the 'smoking allowed sign '. Sasha wore a knee length red gown with peep toe stilettos. Her hair was draped in to a clean bun and she looked like she had just come out of a magazine. Silver on the other hand wore a pink sleeveless dress with black stilettos. She was a party girl so dressing to kill was her specialty.
After dancing and drinking Sasha felt someone's hands around her waist. Horror filled her, she tried fighting, but stopped mid way after seeing the ravishing fellow.
'Hi! I am mark",he said in a husky tone filled with lust.
"hello! I am Sasha", she replied with a smile.
"nice to meet you Sasha. Do you want to dance? ",mark asked as he took in her perfume."armmmm I don't dance",Sasha said shyly.
"common! We all dance.", mark said before dragging her to the dance floor.
At the dance floor, mark holds Sasha from behind and took slow steps. Sasha, who felt insecure felt the song move through her. In minutes, she moves her body. Mark holds her tight and follows her movements.
After a long time of dancing, Sasha begins to feel dizzy, she immediately turns to face Mark, who in no time steals a kiss from her. Sasha felt dumbstruck. That was her first kiss and it tasted of scotch and cigarette. Mark motions for another kiss which Sasha didn't object to. He kissed her fiercely and draws her body towards his.
