CHAPTER 10

Ten years later
It has been ten years since Sasha and Aaric last saw one another. Sasha had been removed from school and was home schooled. She was not allowed to go out and she is punished by her mum if she does anything wrong.

Sasha has grown used to her mum's unusual disciplinary methods. It didn't remove anything if she gets punished unnecessarily.

After she graduated from home school. She got admitted in to Buckingham university to study accounting. Moving away from Avebury boulevard was like a dream come true( no parents, no nagging) only freedom.

Sasha had made few friends in school. Her best friend sliver is a crazy fellow. Silver kan is a half- cast. Her mother is an American and her father is a Japanese.

Sasha and silver had met on the day of the orientation. They had a lot in common and they later became room mates and then best friends. Sasha has also met five other friends,namely: John, Jacob Maria, Annabelle and Amira. These people are what made college easy.

"Silver am so happy!" Sasha shouted." Today is our graduation. Finally, all the studying, projects and stress are over ".

" you are totally right babe. I am happy that we are leaving this school ",silver said with a smile.

"Do you know something? Silver asked. I have already gotten a job in the city hospital. Silver studied nursing.

" wow! I am happy for you my friend",Sasha said while hugging silver.

After hours that seemed like forever, the graduation was over. Everyone got their certificate and went to share their happiness with their family. Silver had gone to meet her parents and siblings.

On the other hand, Sasha had gone to meet her parent. She was all smiles seeing her father. Her father Kent had been the one that saved her from her mother's wrath.

Sasha goes to hug her dad before she turned to hug her mum. Seeing her mum brought back memories from her childhood. Pushing away the memories; she hugs her.

Elizabeth was so happy, her daughter had become a chartered accountant and this automatically promoted their status back in Avebury boulevard. After all the hugs, the family decides to go to a restaurant, still in the university to celebrate their only daughter's success.

Sasha and her parents ordered their food and her mum began the conversation, "Sasha dear!", Beth said.

" what job will you take on, now that you have graduated",Elizabeth said with a slight pause.

" I hope you will come back home and become an accountant, she asked." Well mum, I will find a job. Also, I don't want to become an accountant back home, Sasha replied apathetically.

"You are joking right?" Elizabeth asked in shock.

"No mum. Am not", Sasha remarked. Elizabeth is not happy with her reply. "Sasha you will have to come home after a long time". If you are not going to start an accounting business there; then at least come home, Beth pleaded.

" Don't you miss your home town?",Elizabeth asked curiously.

"But mum I don't want to go back home. I want to stay here in this town,so as to get a job. Also, so that I can send money to you guys", Sasha remarked.

"sweety!"Kent called. "please listen to your mum ".

"if you don't want to get a job in Avebury boulevard, then at least, come home with us".

Tired of arguing with her parents. Sasha stays silent and looks at them intensely. She doesn't know what step to take. Should she go home( to a town filled with sad memories) or should she stay?.
