CHAPTER 11

The drive home wasn't stressful. Sasha enjoyed the view. The weather was just perfect. The sky was clear,clearlight blue. Not a sign of one or two,big or small, white fluffy clouds floating across the sky. And the wind is nothing but calm air. The weather wasn't only calm. It was cool and calm. so cool that it can give you that tingly feeling running up and down your spine.

It had been long since she last went home. Before leaving the campus, Sasha said good bye to her friends and promise to come back to see all of them,especially silver .who will be working in the hospital.

Eventually, the drive came to a halt. They had reached home. Looking around, Sasha noticed a lot of changes. The garden had more flowers and the old flowers looked almost dead;as if they had not been watered in months. Also, the porch had more hanging flower pots,the vegetable garden had less vegetable and finally her favourite tree looked fuller.

Her house brought back memories that she thought were buried in the deeper part of her mind. The bad memories came rushing back from where they were buried.

Sasha had tried her best to forget, but they keep torturing her.when she got to Buckingham university, her first year was horrible. She had nightmares that damaged her emotionally. She couldn't cope with it,that she fell in to depression and fear. Silver was the only one with her throughout the process.

Silver advised her to get a therapist. She was hesitant at first, but decided to go for it. That process helped her a lot, she slowly began to over come her fears and the nightmare had stopped.

Pushing all her thoughts away, Sasha carries her bag and walks towards the door. Inside the house,Sasha noticed that everything looked the same. Nothing changed;except the new painting on the wall.

Sasha walked towards the painting and is mesmerized by the splash of colours on it. She felt captured by its beauty. "Looks beautiful right?", Kent asked. His voice dragged Sasha out of her thoughts. Turning her gaze to him,Sasha replies with a smile," yes it sure is. The colours are captivating ".

" they sure are!",Kent remarked. "So what did you miss about this house?", Kent asked.

Sasha didn't expect that sought of question,but she replied with a smile." Well dad,I missed our garden, our flowers, my lovely tree, my friends,my room and you".

"Awwwn dear!", Kent said sweetly." You mentioned a lot of things except your mum. Didn't you miss her?",Kent asked with firm voice.

Turning her full attention to Kent. Sasha had a shocked expression on her face. She did mention a lot of things, but intentionally didn't mention her mum.

"I want am answer dear!", Kent emphasized.

" a-am dad. I am so tired from the journey. Let's continue the discussion tomorrow ",Sasha said apathetically before walking away. Kent didn't bother stopping her. He knew her answer, but wants to hear it from her. He goes out of the house to help Elizabeth with the luggage.

Entering her room, Sasha smiled, she had missed her room when she was in school. Dropping her bags on the bed,she goes to survey every corner of her room. Sasha motions to the window and sees  the sunset.

" how lovely!",Sasha said sweetly.

Moving away from the window, she goes to open her box. Removing the clothes one after the other. She carries the pile of clothes to her wardrobe and stocked them in there neatly.

The aroma coming from the kitchen made Sasha's mouth water. Sasha rushes to the kitchen. Entering the kitchen,sasha notices her parents having a serious conversation. She didn't say anything so as not to interrupt them.

Elizabeth turns her direction away from Kent and notices Sasha.
"darling when did you get here?",Beth asked while stepping away from Kent.

"so who's hungry?",Beth asked.

"we both are! ",Kent and Sasha said in unison.

Dinner was rather silent. No one was willing to start a conversation. Eventually,the dinner came to an end. Sasha goes to her room and doesn't come out again.

"do you want a cup of coffee",beth asked quiet sweetly.

"yes of course",Kent replied.
Over the coffee, Elizabeth reminds Kent of the deal they had made with the Duke.

"oh! That's true. But how are we going to get Sasha to accept the proposal?",Kent asked.

"well I don't know yet, but am sure that I will figure something out very soon",Elizabeth said cunningly.

"I will ensure that Sasha gets married to Aaron. Even if I have to drag her I will. I can't have our reputation tarnished ",Beth said with a sly smile on her face.
