Sickness ¦ Mingyu

Younghee's POV

Do you always get that feeling that something good will happen but it's the complete opposite?

That's what I'm feeling right now. My boyfriend suddenly texted me that he wanted to talk at the cafe where we always hang out. I'm super nervous right now, like I don't even know what to do.

So here I am, walking straight to the café with no other thoughts than 'Is he going to break up with me?' We have been dating for 2 years and I started having these thoughts ever since he started coming home late these past few weeks.

"Jagi!~ I'm right here" Mingyu softly yelled when I opened the door of the café. I walked and saw him positioned at the right side of the café where there are only 6 people including us.
"So, let's cut to the chase. What do you want to talk about, Gyu?" I said nervously as I sat down (with him being a gentleman). His face darkened as I said those words. "Younghee, we have to break up." He said coldly.

I was shocked to hear him say those 5 words. "What? What do you mean by that? Gyu, are you seriously going to throw away all those memories that we made for the past 2 years? Your parents are very supportive for us, what happened?" I softly said as tears began to fall.

Mingyu suddenly regrets making this decision but he has to do this. He wiped my tears as he hugged me tight.

"I'm very sorry but I have to leave. Forget about me, okay?" He said as he started to stand up.

"No! Mingyu, please. Don't do this!" I shouted, catching the attention of the people around us.

I felt weak as I let out another cry then blacked out.

Third person's POV

People saw her pass out and immediately called an ambulance. Gyu heard the commotion and went back to see that Younghee was on the floor.

"Excuse me! Did somebody already called an ambulance? " He said while holding his chest. 'Not now! Younghee needs me', but the pain became more aggressive that caused him to collapse next to her. People are in histeric as they waited for the ambulance.

Minutes later, it finally came. The people made way and watch as they took Mingyu and Younghee.

The nurse at the reception called both of their parents stating that their kids are currently in the hospital. They rushed to get dressed and drove quick to see their kids.

The doctor saw that the patients have the same sickness which is called Cardiovascular disease. They woke up with their hands tangled in each other, Mingyu took this chance to explain.

"I love you, Younghee. This was the reason why I broke up with you. I'm sorry for hurting you", Mingyu said as he caressed Younghee's hand. "I love you too, Gyu. It's okay. I should have known since you showed the same signs of the disease. Atleast we get to say goodbye, right?" She smiled.

"I love you, Younghee" "I love you too, Gyu"

The couple said their last words as they took their last breathe. The flat line, echoing around the room as the nurses rush to help them but got stopped by the parents. Shaking their head as they cry, knowing that their kids won't feel the pain anymore.
