Okay... So this is my first Fearless Vampire Killers fanfiction. Based on a conversation with a friend. If I mess up a lot of the personalities I'm sorry. It will turn into a Keveridge at some point.. And the Timids are together.

School had never really been Laurence's thing.

His previous school had been one of intellect, intent on helping students reach their academical goals. It  had sounded extraordinary at first. But then he'd settled in. It had turned out to be full of dickheads- irritating students, overbearing teachers and trampy girls. Turned out the school were more bothered about putting on a good show for inspectors.

Those first few years of secondary school had been a nightmare- a chain of disasters, one after the other. It was hard to stay cheerful in a school where they beat you down.

So, naturally, Laurence had jumped at the idea of moving to Suffolk. He wasn't expecting a warm reception, but anywhere was better than the pit he'd skulked around for 3 years.

It turned out that he was correct. There were a few jerks- there always were- but there had been a fairly nice reception. Monday dawned bright and early, and the 17 year old left the house bright and early, waving goodbye to his parents on the way out. It was gonna be a longggg day.

Straightening his Green Day bag and loosely knotting his tie, Laurence began to trudge down the street. His new school was just down the street. Red bricks, slate roof. Typical.

Sighing heavily, Laurence pushed his fringe out of his eyes, careful not to smudge his eyeliner. The two thick rings around his eyes were part of who Laurence was- he'd worn his makeup like that as long as he could remember. His parents and few friends called him a panda. Big, fluffy and with panda rings round his eyes. It wasn't gonna go away anytime soon. And he liked it.

Laurence sighed, pushing the doors open. It was with a nervous, tentative sigh that he stepped into the building.

The first thing that Laurence noticed was the alarming separation of each clique. There were a bunch of nerds next to the drinking fountain, a bunch of preps and jocks by the stairs, and a small group of guys sat at a table. One of them had long black hair, with a slight brown beard growing in already. The second guy was sat with his legs draped over a spare chair. His fringe was red, and the rest of his hair was brown. Funky.

The final two were cuddled in close, the shorter of the two resting his head on his boyfriend's shoulder. The boy being cuddled was wearing glasses, with long, flippy brown hair that got in his eyes. The second boy had short brown hair and was wearing a little bit of eyeliner, with a Weezer bag. They looked happy, and none of the guys were clearly embarrassed about being different to rest of the school.

Gently shoving his glasses up his nose, Laurence shouldered his bag and started to make his way over to the group. As he got closer, he noticed a few of the various girls start to turn and look at the newcomer. Most of them were your typical slag- huge eyebrows, orange tan... Except one. She was slender and pale, her soft brown hair piled up on top of her head. A few curls escaped her messy up do. These curls just made her shoulders. With a strong jawline and big, brown eyes, she was definitely one of the most gorgeous girls Laurence had ever seen..

Deciding to chance it, Laurence shot her a beaming grin, which was not returned. Instead, she blushed slightly and ducked her head. Just great.

Shaking his fringe out of his eyes, Laurence stepped up to the table of guys.

"Dudes, I've been writing more songs- we still need a lead singer.. But if we manage to get one, we can get gigs, which would be cool," The red fringed one stated, leaning back in his seat and grinning.
