I went back into Marcus' room and put my bag back on the couch from earlier.

I wanted answers today. I also wanted food.

A knock on the door pulled me out of my thoughts of bacon and pancakes.

"Come in." I said.

"Your tea ma'am." Molly said coming in with a cup in hand.

She smiled at me but quickly looked down.

"You don't need to act like that around me." I laughed. "And please, call me Kay."

"Where would you like your tea Miss Kay." She said as I cringed at the Miss part.

"Um.. what is this tea? Is it like green tea?" I asked.

She finally looked up with a smile.

"Well miss, it's actually a bunch of different herbs." She handed it to me. "You really don't know what a heat is do you?"

"No." I said running my hand through my hair.

"You and Sir Marcus are quite alike." She pointed at my hand while I did the same thing Marcus does. "I don't want to overstep. I'll let Sir Marcus tell you everything dear."

As I got a better look at her face I noticed she was older, almost my mothers age I would guess.

"Alright. I don't want to get you in trouble." I said before sipping the tea.

It almost tasted like wood and vanilla mixed with mint. It wasn't very pleasant but I felt like I needed to drink it.

Molly left and I went down stairs with my tea and phone.

"Marcus?" I said as I got to the bottom.

Marcus came around the corner to my right wearing an apron and a pair of tongs in hand.

"Follow me." He said looking down at my dress. "I like that dress."

I blushed and followed him into a huge kitchen. He was cooking sausage and bacon in one pan and eggs in another. I sat my cup on the counter. There was a box of eggo waffles out which I snatched up and hugged them.

"I LOVE egos!" I smiled.

"Me too." Marcus said smiling at me. "Mind putting some in the toaster right there?"

He pointed to a large toaster on the counter and I put in 8 eggo waffles.

4 for me and 4 for him.

"I'm gonna need more than that." Marcus said standing behind me.

I was being pressed against the counter with Marcus only centimeters behind me. He reached over me and put in 3 more for himself. My legs clenched and I was instantly hot.

"You haven't drank all of your tea yet." He said sniffing the air.

"Not yet." I said moving from in front of him back to where I put my cup down.

I plugged my nose and drank the rest of the tea quickly. It was getting cold so it wasn't that hard. It really didn't taste good at all, but if it helped stop these dirty thoughts and raging new hormones stop then I'll drink it.

Marcus went back to the oven and ran his hand through his hair as I did the same. I leaned against the counter after putting my empty cup in the sink.

I laughed lightly.

"What's funny?" He smiled.

"Nothing. We both do the same thing. Running our fingers through our hair." I smiled back.

"Oh." He said.

After a few minutes of silence he put some food on a plate for me along with my 4 eggos.

"I haven't eaten this much in forever." I said as he handed me my plate.

I followed him into a dinning room with a massive table.

"Pick a seat." He smiled.

I chose the closest one and he sat next to me.

"No syrup?" I said as I put a bite of egos in my mouth.

"You want some?" He asked standing up.

"No no." I laughed. "I've never seen anyone not eat eggos without syrup except for me."

He sat back down and shook his head.

"Too much sugar." He laughed.

After I ate half of my food I felt myself getting stuffed. I mostly ate all the eggos and sausages and bacon. Leaving the rest of my eggs.

"So when am I going to learn all of this werewolf shit?" I asked.

Marcus was finishing up his plate and he reminded me of a puppy excited that it was eating.

He took his plate and mine back into the kitchen and I followed him back up to his room.

"No more pain from shifting?" He asked closing his door behind me.

"No. Just pain in my abdomen." I said.

"Sit on the couch, I'll get a fire going." He said. "It gets freezing cold in here."

"Yeah it's already getting a little cold." I said sitting down on the couch.

"Promise me you won't leave and freak out after I tell you everything?" He asked as he put wood into the fireplace.

"I need to be home by noon." I said. "My Dad will be waiting for me."

"How about I tell you what you need to know now and then as time goes on I'll tell you more. I don't want to overwhelm you." He said sitting next to me on the couch.

"Okay." I said crossing my legs.

"You're my mate. As I said earlier we were chosen to be together by the moon goddess herself." He said

"So the moon is like.. werewolf Jesus?" I asked.

"Sort of." He laughed.

"She knows everything from the past to the future and here now in the present." He said.

"When my father, the king of West coast pack land met his mate, my mother Shira, they were head over heals for each other." He said, "You feel that pull towards me. Like everything I do drives you to like me more right?"

I nodded.

"That's because we're mates. We share a piece of our soul with each other through the moon. It's like our destiny is to be together. It's like some gushy shit out of a fairytale." He laughed.

"As wolves we have ranks. I have no idea what yours was or is because your parents..." He stopped. "Your parents are not wolves..."

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Please don't freak out and I'm here for you while you take this all in." He put his hand on my cheek as he got closer. "Your parents aren't actually your parents.. I think you were adopted Kay."

I'm.... adopted?
