Song for this chapter: Eraser - Ed Sheeran

We drove down the long winding roads. Mine and Marcus' favorite song playing on blast. For a brief moment I forgot about all the bad shit and just focused on here and now. Me and Marcus.

I truly didn't think I would be here. This connection with a man who made my heart melt with every breath he took.

I felt Marcus' gaze on me. He was causally leaning back in his chair making him look like a sexy model in a classic car. It really made me think of dirty things we could do in this car.

Shaking my head and smiling I erased the thoughts before Marcus caught onto me.

"Don't feel bad for thinking of those things baby." He cooed.

I could smell his arousal. Encasing me in his scent. His eyes were flashing from brown to gold and I bit my lip as I watched how his chest moved up and down as he breathed.

"Eyes on the road mate." He winked.

"Quit distracting me." I smirked and looked towards the road.

"I promised myself I wouldn't get intimate with you for a while." He said.

"Oh." I frowned.

"Not that I don't want to. I just want to be mated to you. So if I have to tease you into letting me, then so be it." He smirked.

"Maybe I'll just tease you." I smirked as I kept my gaze on the road.

"Then we'll end up marked. I'll sink my teeth into your soft spot.." He said as I felt his warm finger touch a spot right above my collar bone and in between my shoulder and neck. "Then Leave precious marks all over your small chest. Soon the whole kingdom will no you're mine."

I shivered and clenched my thighs. His possessiveness was quite a turn on.

"At least take me out dinner first." I laughed trying to change the subject.

"By the way you smell, I can tell you'd like to taste more than some burgers and fries." He chuckled.

"You dirty dog." I smiled and shook my head.

"Never claimed to be anything else." He laughed.

We drove a few minutes, it was starting to get dark so the sunset was gorgeous. Blues, purples, and yellows, melted into each other as the sun disappeared behind the Washington mountains. I felt like painting it so I could put my emotions through each stroke into the sunset.

"This would be a gorgeous painting." Marcus said.

"Exactly what I was thinking." I smiled.

"We should be in human territory soon." He said.

"It's been almost three weeks since I've been at your house but it feels like forever." I said.

"I'll keep you safe. At all costs." He said as I felt a tingling sensation on the side of my face.

The road went down hill as a small town came into view. A town much smaller than the one I first moved into.

I slowed down and tried to get a good look as I drove.

"Take a right at the next stop sign." He said.

I did as he said and followed more directions before we pulled into a small bar looking place.

"Marcus I'm not 21, they won't let me in." I said.

"It's fine. You're with me." He smiled.

The outside was covered in old wood, the windows had neon signs and I could smell the weed and cigarette smoke from here.
