Chapter 26

It was early morning. Last night, me and Marcus had 2 or 3 rounds of sexy time. Then we cuddled in bed and watched movies until we fell asleep.

I slowly moved out from underneath Marcus' arms. I felt his grip around me tighten.

"Where do you think you're going?" Marcus said smiling with his eyes still closed.

"On a morning run." I said kissing his nose.

"We should run together." He smiled.

"Only if you make me breakfast." I smiled back.

Marcus jumped up immediately as I watched his naked body stride to his closet.

"So when do I go start this training thing?" I asked.

"Maybe next week. I've gotta write up a list of all the warriors that'll be training the trainees." He said slipping on a pair of shorts.

He didn't put underwear on underneath so his bulge was a little more protruding. I'm such a perve.

"I forgot to wash laundry so I'm out of underwear." He smirked and winked at me.

"Shit." I laughed and blushed.

"Look all you want baby. It's all yours." He smirked.

"I know." I said getting out of bed too.

I watched his eyes dart all over my naked body before settling his eyes on my breasts.

I reached into his thoughts and instantly heard what he was thinking.

"Oh my goddess Marcus that's so wrong!" I laughed and swatted him covering my tits.

"What?" He chuckled, "I couldn't taste it just once?"

"If I did have a pup, the milk would be for the pup." I smiled and grabbed one of Marcus' T-shirts off the floor and put it on followed by a pair of pj pants out of my side of the closet.

"But.. sharing is caring." He said wrapped his big arms around me from behind.

I could feel his bulge and if I didn't change the subject soon, we'd be getting another round in before we even ate breakfast.

"I want bacon and sausage. I want meat. Ughhh a ton of meat please." I whined and turned towards him.

He winked and I swatted him again for his dirty thoughts.

"Horny dog." I laughed and walked towards the door.

"I've gotta do something real quick but I'll be down in a second okay?" Marcus said opening a drawer in his dresser.

"Okay." I said smiling and went down the stairs and into the kitchen.

Mia was sitting at the table. And right next to her was a blonde guy. The one and only Corey.

"Mia? Corey?" I said crossing my arms so my nipples didn't show through Marcus' shirt.

Did Marcus know he was here?

"Hey." Mia's face was dark and gloomy.

"Hey. What's wrong? What happened?" I asked raising a brow.

"Marcus told me to come here with Corey." She said holding Corey's hand on the table. "He said he had something important to tell us."

"Like what?" I asked sitting across the table from them.

I heard Marcus' footsteps come down the stairs and smelt his scent as he came into the room.

His alpha presence filled the room, and I felt goosebumps on my skin from it.

I turned to look at him but his sweet side from this morning was now covered by a badass alpha shell.

"Marcus what's going on?" I asked.

"When I said for you to come here with Corey, I didn't mean this early in the fucking morning Mia." He growled.

"I'm sorry Alpha Marcus, it's just.. look I know you don't like Corey but he's my mate so please don't take him away from me, I'm so sorry about what happened with Kay-" she bagan to cry, "but he-"

"Enough." Marcus said silencing her. "That's not what I called you guys here for, just go up to my office and wait for me."

They got up and left while Corey comforted her and passed me a scared glance before disappearing out of the room.

"Whats going on?" I asked.

"Something happened last night. I just need to question him." He said.

"Oh." I said. "Try to be nice to him okay?"

"I'll try." He smiled.

He toned his Alpha presence down a bit and pulled a small jewelry box out of his pocket.

"Here." He said

"Whats this?" I said taking it out of his hand and opening it.

"Something for you to wear that I bough you." He said.

I looked at the necklace that had a large moon and rain drops on it. It looked exactly like the tattoo the moon had given me.

"Oh my goddess Marcus this is beautiful!" I smiled as he picked it up out of the box.

I held my hair up as he clasped it around my neck.

"I love it Marcus." I said looking up at him, "Thank you."

We made breakfast. Bacon, sausages, ham, and cheese omelets with mushrooms and all kind of goodies.

After I felt like I was going to give birth to a 20 pound burrito baby, Marcus went up to the office and I cleaned up after breakfast.

Mia and Corey had been up in his office for a while and I was starting to wonder what he wanted to ask them.

I decided to go up and see for myself.

Hearing the mumbling voices from his office I tuned in and tried to make sense of them.

"I had nothing to do with any of that I already told you!" Corey said loudly.

"I just find it odd Corey. You seem to be doing a lot of things you don't remember doing, so is this possibly one of them?" Marcus said.

I could hear the hate in his voice.

"So you think I helped kidnap all those she wolves just because Kay says I kidnapped her?!" Corey yelled.

"Watch your tone or I'll rip your damn throat out human!" Marcus yelled back. "All I fucking now is I've got 23 teen she wolves missing and I know you know something about it!"

I gasped out loud.

Shit.

"Fuck!" Marcus yelled.
