I haven't told you yet

J: we can't let some random family adopt them.. we should search for the best family they can have. And for the time being they can stay here.
E: yeah, I think so to. They deserve the best..

Jake sat me down.

J: why don't we go watch a movie or something?
E: I'd love that.

We walked to the livingroom and sat down on the couch. I snuggled up against Jake while he picked a movie. We picked a random movie and Jake wrapped his arms around me.

J: I missed this
E: what?
J: cuddeling with you

I looked up at him and smiled. I laid my head on his chest and watched the movie. After about 45 minutes I got up.

J: what are you doing?
E: I'm putting Kane to bed.
J: Uhg okay...

I put Kane to bed and walked downstairs. Jake was texting, he looked upset.

E: are you okay?
J: no. I just got a text from Emilio, him and Ivan are not getting their visa.
E: well, they can try again right?
J: no, they allready tried 3 times so no  they have to wait 5 years..
E: what?!

Jake started tearing up. I pulled him against me and hugged him tight. He burried his head in the crook of my neck. He backed out of yhe hug.

J: they are not coming back... I can't believe it.. I loved those guys...
E: I'm so sorry Jake...
J: I think I'm going to work out.. just to clear my head..
E:okay.. I'm going to bed...

I walked upstairs and got readdy for bed. I crawled in bed. I tried to fell asleep but for some reason I couldn't. I decided to wait for Jake because with him next to me I could always fall asleep. I waited for 1 and a half hour. Jake wasn't here yet. I decided to go check on him because he never takes so long to work out. I walk to the little gym we had in the house. I opened the door and saw Jake sitting on the ground leaning against the wall with his head in his hands. I ran up to him.

E: Jake? Are you okay?
J: Erika? I thought you were asleep.
E: I couldn't fall asleep so I waited for you but you didn't come. What are you doing?
J: just.. nothing...

I sat down beside him.

E: please tell me what's wrong Jake... Is it Ivan and Emilio? Because it's not your fault they can't get their visa.
J: I know.. but that's not what I'm upset about...
E: than why are you upset?
J: the last few days I haven't slept at all.
E: what do you mean? Why haven't you slept?
J: I have nightmares Erika..
E: about what? About what happened in France?
J: no..
E: about what Jake?
J: About something I haven't told you yet.
