Loving

We sat on the bed hugging eachother for a while. Kane stopped crying after a while. Jake walked in and saw Levi cry. He walked over and picked him up. He calmed Levi down.

J: are you okay buddy?

Levi stopped crying and looked at Jake.

L: *sobbing* mommy and daddy awe not come back...
J: No.. I'm sorry...

Levi burried his head in the crook of Jakes neck. After sobbing for a while he fell asleep.

Kane got up

K: can I bring my bmx bike to your house?
J: sure!

Kane walked out to get his bike.

E: what did the neighbours say?
J: they said Anna and Dennis don't have any family or close friends.

He whispered a little because Levi was still sleeping in his arms.

E: okay... I guess that means we have to organise the funeral..
J: I guess so...
E: but who do we invite?
J: I allready asked the neighbours and they told me they will send me a list of people.
E: okay.. good
J: Let's Mail their lawyer so he can settle the injurance things amd stuf.
E: yeah, I'll search his number in Dennis' office.
J: okay

I found the number of the lawyer while Jake and Kane put the bmx and the other stuf in the car. We all got in the car and drove home. The carride was mainly silent.

We arrived home at around 6:00pm. We walked in and saw Tessa and Anthony cooking.

K: Anthony! I brought my bike! Come I'll show you!
A: Hey buddy, you can show me after diner okay?
K: okay!
E: did you guys cook diner?
T: yeah
E: you didn't have to do that!
T: offcourse, you guys were very bussy today so we thought we'd help you out.
E: thanks T!

Jake walked in with Levi sleeping on his shoulder again.

J: hey guys!
A: hey bro!
T: hey Jake
E: Levi is so sleepy today
J: I know. All the emotions must have made him tired.
E: I think so.

Jake gently woke Levi up and sat him down on a chair. We all eat diner and Jake went upstairs to put Levi in bed. Lane showed Anthony his bmx in the garage. Tessa and I were sitting in the kitchen.

T: so how are you?
E: fine
T: sure?
E: yeah, why?
T: just checking. Have you guys figured out what is happening with Kane and Levi?
E: no.. I think we could adopt them but Jake said we cant because we are to young and to bussy..
T: he kinda has a point there..
E: I know but I just don't want Kane and Levi to go to an orphanage.
T: I understand. But maby there is a loving family who wants to adopt them.
E: yeah.. maby..
T: I have to leave
E: where are you going?
T: New York
E: Why? Because of Jack?

I started to smile, I think Tessa and Jack like eachother.

T: yeah.. uhmm... I promised to help him with some stuff.
E: *smiling* if you say so

Tessa walked out and I was left alone. I took my laptop and started planning for the funeral. I felt two hands on my shoulders.

J: hey babe
E: hey

I looked up and stared in two hazel brow eyes. Jake kissed my forehead.
Kane and Anthony walked in.

K: can I go play games in Anthonys room?
E: okay, but you have to go to bed in an hour.
K: okay!

Kane and Anthony went upstairs. Jake grabbed my hand and pulled me up. We stared into eachothers eyes and Jake placed his hands on my butt. I wrapped my arms around his neck. I kissed his lips and we started making out. Jake picked me up and sat me down on the counter without breaking the kiss. We stopped kissing and rested our foreheads against eachother.

J: I love you so much
E: I love you to
J: Kane and Levi deserve a loving family. I think you were right, we can't just let some random family adopt them...
