Kruagus Darkmaw
"Perhaps, it is wise for us to join you. You have no knowledge of this hybrid." Kruagus second, Vulred suggested.
There was no knowledge of what kind of hybrid the woman was and he didn't want to be in the assuming mindset. Kruagus instincts were usually right but he was afraid that if he was right, it would mean a war would come. For several moons, he noticed the King keep his men busy in shifting this hybrid around.
It was a risk for her to meet him but if she were anything like him, the young hybrid would be a risk taker. Kruagus doubted she would miss opportunity. "If I am not back by first light...head to the harbor and prepare for departure."
"I won't leave you behind."
"And you will not." Kruagus grunted. "These filthy fucks have no capability to put me to my grave. It is only a matter of making quick exit."
His men all nodded. Kruagus walked up, grabbing one of the men's tunic. "Be discreet. Do not draw attention to yourselves and dress like them." His eyes leered on all his men.
Stepping away, Kruagus gripped his sword. He placed hooded cloak over his head, keeping visibility limited.
The sky was dark, blending in with many in the city. It was visible for Kruagus to see that men were following him. He moved inside a tavern, crowded with all sorts of people, and headed to the counter, leaning over it and waving for a drink. He snuck a glance and watched two men enter behind. One of the men made themselves bold standing beside him.
Kruagus grunted, humored that the human thought he could intimidate him and turned, staring down at the man. "You mist me thirsty after trying to keep up."
"I don't know what you mean?" The unknown man said.
His friend lingered closely behind.
Kruagus nodded. "Ah, no. I see it. You are thirsty." Kruagus grabbed the human by the back of his head and slammed hit into the counter, blood gushing out from his head. "Floor a beating."
The man behind him rushed forward and his elbow cracked against his nose. Blood spoiled the air as the man fell unconscious.
He left and the moon was half filled in sky, as he continued to the colosseum he made it to the training field on the opposite end of where the showing hall was.
At a distance, footsteps were heard. He grunted out of instinct and anticipation. Facing those who approached. There was darkness and it field the training room. It was long, enough for picking up speed before having to stop at the other end.
Two women approached, guarded as they looked around making sure he was alone. They held no weapons. He was sure it would be difficult for them to come by, not allowed to carry, except in the arena.
Kruagus recognized one of the women to be Livei, the one who helped him have this meeting. The other, he only seen once at a distance. As they came closer, Kruagus sniffed the air. They were alone. He picked up the woman's scent. Strong, wild, and familiar. He grimaced.
They stopped a body length from him.
Livei strong eyes watched him, hovering very close to the other woman. She would attack if she found him to be a threat. There was not even a blink from her eyes.
Kruagus shoulders slacked, taking his hand from the hem of his sword. He shifted a glance to the woman. Her black hair was pulled back in one long plait. She did not hesitate to give him the same thorough scrutiny. She had broad shoulders, long arms, and oval shaped face. Thin dark brows and long lashes hovered over her watchful eyes.
