Only now I realize how hungry I actually am after the food has been served, but there is no wonder in that. I haven't eaten for almost a whole day, but I mean how can someone concentrate on food after learning that his whole life was a complete lie and that just because my parents couldn't keep me in this world.

If I am totally honest, I am not feeling very comfortable at all here surrounded by all the unfamiliar people. All of them keep staring at me, smiling awkwardly at me and them talking behind my back isn't any help either. There also isn't anyone who tries to communicate or start a conversation with me, but to be honest I am not really bothered by that.

I decide that after filling my belly, with the, by the way, excellent food, I would excuse myself and go back to my room. So that's what I did.

"Excuse me, but I am feeling very tired. I think it would be good for me to go and rest for the night." I say to Frigga and Odin.

They both just smile and nod in my direction.

"What a shame." I hear Thor mutter to himself, but I decide to ignore the comment.

Frigga looks at his son and then back to me.

"Of course my darling. Do you need someone of the guard to accompany you?"

"Oh, no thank you. I think I will find my way back on my own." I reply politely while standing up.

I walk towards the big golden door and wait until one of the guards opens it up for me.

I breathe.

Finally, I am out of there.

All those pieces of information from Odin and the stares from all the new faces...it was just too much for one night. I still have a bit of the way memorized in my head, the other bit, let's just say...I need to improvise.

I walk into a big corridor which has some pillars aligned at each side of it. It was beautiful, but sadly I can't see as much of it as I wished because it was dark outside and the only light in the corridor comes from some torches that were hanging on the wall. I enjoy the view in front of me and take a deep breath, thinking about everything that had happened to me the past day.

"So, you are the new arrival in Asgard, that everyone is talking about." I hear a mysterious voice behind me say.

I jump a bit not really thinking that somebody was in here. I turn around to see a figure walk out from behind one of the pillars and in my direction. Now, I am able to make out his whole features.

He is tall, has his dark black hair nicely sleeked back, his eyes were a beautiful intense greenish color and like most of the men here, he is also wearing an armor, which is decorated with green fabric. He looks elegant, but still has a very mysterious look to him, just like his voice. You just want to know more about him.

"And you are?" I answer to his remark.

He looks surprised at me, but slowly a faint but still visible smirk appears on his lips. He walks one step closer towards me, his hands folded behind his back.

"I am Loki Odinson." He replies.

So, this is Thor's brother that was missing during the feast.

"Your parents were asking for you, if you walk fast perhaps you can still join them."

He chuckles and looks deep into my eyes, looking kind of concentrated. I just can't take my eyes off him, I could stare into those eyes forever and even get lost in them.

"Wow." He says not averting his gaze. "It's true what they are saying, you really look like her."

"Like my mother?" I question.

"Yes." His eyes still lost in mine.

"Don't tell me you also knew my mother." I utter.

How is it possible that everyone knows about my parents, only me, the daughter of them, doesn't even know what they look like.

"No. Sadly I never met her, but I have seen drawings and descriptions of her in many books. Your mother wasn't just any goddess." He takes a break and walks another step towards me, standing right in front of me now.

I can even feel his breath on me, goosebumps start to erupt slowly on my body and my breath stops once again.

"She is one of the most powerful goddesses ever to exist." he continues.

"That sounds great for her, but I still don't know who she really is and by the looks of it I never will" I reply bluntly.

Loki is about to say something, but a deep voice beats him to hit.

"Brother, there you are. I have been looking everywhere for you."

He notices me.

"Lady Anna" he nods, but still looks confused seeing the both of us so close together.

"Where were you Loki?" he now averts his attention back to Loki.

"Can't I have one peaceful minute to myself Thor?" He replies in a completely different tone, he almost sounds pissed.

"Father has an important matter to discuss. He wants you there." Thor says ignoring is brothers attitude.

"Fine!" Loki says looking back at me again and then walking off to the direction I came from only minutes ago.

"Good night," Thor says giving me a small smile before walking off behind his brother.

"Good night," I reply, it only comes out as a whisper.

At least one of them has manners. I just grin at myself seeing them both walk down the corridor not really talking to one another, like two little children who just had a fight over some stupid toy.

I turn around and follow my path to my room, open the door and close it behind me.

Only now after seeing my bed I realize how tired I actually am. I strip myself out of the dress the girl had given me only hours before the feast, put on the T-shirt that I have been wearing the day before in London because I don't have anything else to wear and finally lay down in bed. I am so tired that I don't even get the chance to think about everything that has happened to me. The only thing I see before I fall into a deep sleep are those mysterious green eyes.
