I enter through the door of the Great Hall and see people enjoying their food. A few of them look at me and stare for a while, but then continue what they have been doing before. I walk to the seat where I sat yesterday, not really knowing if I could sit somewhere else.

No one of the royal family is present, not Odin, not Frigga, not Thor and sadly also not Loki. I sit down and grab some of the displayed food in front of me. I turn my gaze to some girls my age, whispering to each other and looking at me. Great...I already made some friends.

"Ignore them." I hear a feminine voice next to me say while sitting down.

"I'll try," I reply friendly.

The woman is quite beautiful. She is dressed in an armor, which wasn't very common for a female here in Asgard, at least I haven't seen one yet. Her hair is pulled back at the sides,  emphasizing her facial structure, the rest is flowing over her shoulders.

"You must be Ingrid An Hilde, the daughter of Freyja and Heimdall. I'm Sif." The brunet next to me says.

"Is the whole city talking about me?" I ask jokingly. "And by the way I prefer Anna." 

"To be honest, they actually are all talking about you. Especially the men in Asgard. I mean you are Freyja's daughter after all." Sif pauses and then continues "And also Thor hast talked about you a lot the past few hours." I look at her with a questioning look.

Great, so what I read in the book is all true! My mother really seduced all the man in Asgard and even her not being here is still affecting most of them. I somehow need to show Asgard, that I am nothing like my mother. I don't really want to have such a reputation.

Why is Thor talking so much about me? I don't even know anything about him, just that he is the prince and Loki's brother. We haven't even had a proper conversation yet.

"So, you know Thor," I ask curiously.

"Yes, we fought a lot of battles together, and still do. He will be a great King!" she answers.

"King?" I question.

"Yes, soon will the time come, when Odin will name Thor King of Asgard," Sif says content that her friend will sit on the throne one day.

"So, he is the older brother?" I continue the conversation while thinking of Loki.

"Yes, he is, but Thor was always favored by the people and sometimes, I think, also by Odin." She replies not showing any emotion at all.

I am glad that at least someone is telling me a few things about this place and to be honest I really enjoy her company. She appears to be an independent and strong woman and that's someone I would like having as a friend.
