Chapter 22

Katniss's POV

It's Snow's Granddaughter.

What?! How did she-

She throws me into her car. I start to scream out but before I can finish "HE-", she slams my toes in the car door. I cry as my toes throb.

"Oh my god!" I mouth.

I try to rub my feet as she gets in the driver's seat. My toes are turning purple, most likely broken.

She keeps complete focus on the road. When I get some energy back I try to pry open the door but there's a lock, only the driver can control. Stupid new vechiles. We are at a stop sign and this is when she pipes up,

"Okay Katwhimp, you want to get out of here?"

I nod and she unlocks her door. She walks around to mine. She asks me to turn around and she unlocks the door, hand cuffing me. Why am I so stupid!

She drags me out of the seat, my butt rubbing roughly against the road. There is hot blood raging down my legs.

She laughs, "okay time for the Mockingjay to be set free!"

She picks my weak, skinny body onto a railing. I look down and there is a giant body of water below. The Captiol Ocean. We are on the Capitol boarder. She says, "you ready? Well I don't care."

Without any ounce of regret she pushes me off, like a bag of rocks. As I fall I scream of what's left of me.

When the instant falling stops my body hits the water. It feels like a ton of tracker-jacker stings beating against my bleeding flesh. Water surges into my body as I take a breath in. God darn it! I am loosing air as I struggle to get up. I jiggle my wrists try to release these awful cuffs.

I am panicing more by the second. What is going to happen to me..
