I found myself in a dark... I don't know. I literally had no idea where I was because I couldn't see anything. All of a sudden, a light shines down on a person sitting in a chair. He was tall, and had brown hair. He wore kaki shorts, and a hideous Hawaiian shirt. His eyes were closed, and I was afraid he was dead.

"Hello?" I asked, scared.

His eyes snapped open and looked around to find who was talking.

"Who's there? Come out so I can see you!" he said, now very alert.

"Oh, sorry I am dreaming. Who are you? Do you need help? What happened?" I question.

"Very well. I am Hermes, the messenger of the gods! Without me the wold wouldn't go 'round! A giant has captured me and my staff. I'd hate to say so, but I do need help." he says sadly.

"Ok. Tell me where you are." I say like it's simple.

"It's not that easy." Hermes snickers. "You have to go to the Big House, ask for a quest, and do all of that."

"How do you know I'm a demigod?" I ask.

"I can sense Zeus in you. DUH!" he says annoyed. Percy described Hermes for me, but what Percy told me was nothing like this. "Hurry. I am going crazy by the second without my staff. GO NOW!"

I hear someone faintly calling my name in the distance. Then it became more and more clear.

"CLOVER! WAKE UP!" Jason was screaming, while shaking my shoulders.

My eyes snapped open, and I sat upright in bed.

"I just had a horrible nightmare, where Hermes was trapped, and his staff was stolen by some giant. Thank god it's not real." I was relieved.

"One thing wrong with what you just said. That was real. Rule number 2 about being a demigod; your dreams are real." he informs me.

"What's rule number 1?" I asked, confused.

"Don't go near monsters." he chuckles.

We start heading to breakfast. Breakfast starts at 10:00 and it was like 9:55, so we might want to hurry. I am pretty sure that Percy said something about if you are late to eating, you get punished. I'm not sure weather he did or not, but I'm not going to risk it.

We rushed to our table and quickly asked for the food we wanted, and it appeared on our plates. We also did the same for our drinks. I asked for some oatmeal and milk. Yeah I should've asked for something better like pancakes or waffles, maybe even breakfast sausages. I was just feeling plain today.

"By the way, Clover, I asked Chiron if we could use the fighting field today for my to train you with a few things. The others are gonna join us too. We have to teach you things like swordplay, flying, and how to control lightning. The others have the swordplay handled, but I got the lightning and flying of course." Jason told me in between bites.

A few minutes later, the others came and sat down down at our table. Again, Leo decided to sit down right next to me. I blushed a little.

"Hey guys. You won't believe my dream I had last night." I start off with.

"What about?" Percy asked.

They all sat silently and ate, as I told them every detail about my dream meeting with Hermes.

They exchanged worried looks, when I finished telling my story.

"You need to go tell Chiron, NOW." Leo said, from next to me.

"Can I at least finish my breakfast first?" I ask hopefully.

"No. Come on. We are going this second. Let's go." Annabeth demanded, getting up from her seta herself, leaving her on food ad grabbing me and directing me straight towards the Big House. I looked longingly back at my food that I never got the chance to finish.

"Morning girls. Something wrong?" Chiron greeted us.

"Yeah, just one thing. Clover had a dream last night." Annabeth explained.

Chiron's expression suddenly changed to one of concern. "What about?" he said, perfectly repeating what Percy had said a little earlier.

Annabeth told him my whole dream, down to the last detail, stopping here and there to answer some of Chiron's questions.

"Looks like Clover gets to go on her first quest." Chiron stated. "You'll need a prophecy from Rachel. Annabeth, you'll need to stay here while Clover gets a prophecy from Rachel."

Chiron leads me into a room, where I see a girl with fiery red curly hair and freckles, reading a book while sitting slumped in a lounge chair.

"Rachel a time for a quest has come again, so we need a prophecy for Clover." he gestured towards me, leaving the room.

"Come over here. Tell me everything." she said cheerfully, but serious.

I did just that. I told her from when I woke up the morning I had met Percy, to when Annabeth and I had come here just now to talk to Chiron about my dream. When I finished, Rachel looked curious, and that was a new reaction to me here at Camp Half-Blood.

"I see. I guess it's time for that Prophecy then, correct?" she asks.

"Yup, I guess at least." I say unsure of myself.

"That's good enough of a 'Yes' for me." she replies.

The next thing I knew, the world seemed to go on hold around me, and Rachel closed her eyes, and started glowing green.
