Chapter 29

 Callie’s Point of View

 We were driving down the street of the house. I suddenly got really nervous. I know Brandon could tell when he reached over and out his hand on my leg.

 “It’s going to be okay. I will be right there the whole time.” I smile towards him. He pulls into the driveway and we sit there for a second. “Are you ready?”

 “Yeah.” I say a little hesitant. I get out of the car and we walk up to the door. I take a deep breath and enter the house. I hear footsteps coming from the kitchen. 

 “Oh my god Brandon! Moms are so pissed!” Mariana hugs Brandon not realizing I’m here. She backs away form him and sees me. “CALLIE!” she runs up and engulfs me in a hug. “Where did you go? We were so worried!” by then everyone starts walking towards us. Everyone gets excited and hugs me. 

 “How about everyone goes and finishes dinner while we talk to Brandon and Callie.” Lena suggest and everyone nods and walks back into the kitchen. We follow Lena and Stef into the living room and sit down on the couch.

 “Where do we start?” Stef asks.

 “Whatever happens, Callie and Jude need to stay together.” Brandon blurts out. “And they need to stay with us.”

 “Where did you go Callie?”

 “I went to Texas. I had to get away.”

 “Who did you stay with?”

 “A really nice lady that ended up calling Brandon telling him to come.” I told them. I can’t tell their thoughts. I don’t know if they are going to be alright.

 “I left to go get her. I didn’t leave a very detailed note because I had to go.” Brandon says. I see Stef and Lena look at each other.

 “Go to your rooms.” We nod and walk upstairs.

 “How are you?” Brandon asks when we get to his door.

 “I’m okay. I am just going to go into Mari and I’s room.”

 “Okay.” he kisses the top of my head and he walks into his room as I walk into mine. I go sit on the bed and put my head in my hands.

 “Hey are you okay?” I look up to see Mariana walking in.

 “Not really.”

 “What’s wrong? You can tell me anything! Even if it’s about my brother.”

 “I left because we kissed and Jude freaked. We can’t be together because of the system. I don’t even know if your moms will want me anymore since I just left.” By now I am bawling. Mariana pulls me to her just and rubs my back.

 “First off, Moms will always treat you like their daughter! No matter what! I have done worse things than you did and they still love me no matter. Second, you will figure out it with Brandon. If you two are meant to be then it will happen, if not, then things will turn out differently.” I just cry into her shoulder until I hear the door open.

 “Can we talk to Callie alone?” Stef asks. Mariana nods and Stef comes and sit on the bed next to me, taking Mariana’s spot. “What’s wrong sweetie?”

 “I feel like I am messing up everything!”

 “No you aren’t! You are an amazing young lady! I wouldn’t have anyone else! Is this about Brandon?” I just nod my head. “I just talked to him He told me that he would do anything, as long as you were happy, even if that meant you not being with him.” I just put my head down. I love Brandon so much, but I can’t leave Jude to get kicked out of the house.
