The Baby Shower

Chapter 57

Mariana's Point of View

Today everyone is going over Moms's house so Brandon and Callie can tell us what the gender of the baby is. I really want it to be a girl because I would spoil that little girl!

"When are they going to be here?" I ask walking into the living room where everyone is sitting.

"They were at the appointment then they were coming straight here." Momma tells me. I go over sit down on the couch next to Jesus and we wait for them to come.

After waiting for awhile they finally walk into the house.

"We are here!" I hear Callie call into the house. I jump out of my seat and run the door where they are.

"AHH! HI!" I hug both of them and lead them to the living room. "Spill!" I yell at them and everyone starts laughing.

"Okay well..." Brandon starts and looks over at Callie with a huge smile. I can see the happiness and love when they look at each other. I am hoping that's how my boyfriend, Matt, looks at me.

"We are having a little girl!" Callie tells us and I instantly jumps up screaming. I run over and hug her tightly. I step back and Moms go over and pull both of them into a hug.

"We will have our little granddaughter!" Mom says. I can tell that both of them have tears in their eyes. Jesus goes over and hugs them both. Then Mike goes over and hugs them both. I can tell he is crying, which is weird because I have never seen him cry!

"Wow! I can't believe how real this is!" Mike says as he looks at both of them.

After everyone hug them and everything we all sit down and talk for awhile. As I am sitting there, I know of a perfect thing to do at Callie's baby shower! I walk over to Brandon and whisper in his ear,

"Can I talk to you?" He nods and follows me into the kitchen.

"What's up?" he asks.

"Well I need help with something I want to do for Callie's baby shower."

"Yeah anything! What is it?"

"Well..."

Callie's Point of View

3 months later

Today is my baby shower. Mariana was super excited while planning it! She always tells me that it is going to be amazing! I really can't wait! She told me to wear nice clothes because her boyfriend is a photographer and he is taking pictures. Then after the shower we are getting the pregnancy photos done. We are having a good friend of mine from when I was in New York that is taking the pictures. I really can't wait! I am very happy that today is a day where I am super happy and giggly! If I were sad today it would be terrible.

I go into the closet and pull out a printed blouse and a printed maxi skirt (up above). I put it on and go into the bathroom and start curling my hair. I start to struggle a bit so I grab a chair and sit down. I finally finished my hair and go to start my makeup when Brandon walks in.

"How are my girls?" He asks while leaning down and kissing my cheek while he starts to fix his messy hair.

"We are amazing! I can tell that today will be a good day! She is kicking a lot too!" I tell him and I start laughing.

"Oh well I can you are happy today!" He laughs with me. I continue doing my makeup and listening to the radio I have on in the back. The next song to come on was one of MJB's songs. I lean over and turn it up blasting it through our house. We both start to sing along to the song.
