Chapter 48

Callie’s Point of View 

Last night was the night Brandon proposed to me. I am so happy! I love him so much! I can’t believe I am getting married to the love of my life! I can feel Brandon’s arms wrapped around my naked body. I carefully turn over so I am facing him, and see his eyes closed. He looks so peaceful when he is sleeping! I see the clock behind him, and it say it’s 9:30am so I start kissing all over his face to wake him up. 

“Wake up babe.” I whisper to him.

“5 more minutes!” he mumbles.

“No, it’s late enough, I have to get to work…” I place my lips onto his softly.

“Fine…but you should wake me up like that more often.” I get out of bed and wrap a blanket around my body and walk into the bathroom to take a shower. I quickly get in and wash off so I can get to work on time.

I finish getting ready and walk into the kitchen to see Brandon making us some eggs and bacon.

“Eat this before you go!” He puts a plate in front of me and I quickly eat it. 

“Thanks babe! But I have to be at work in 10 mins.”

“Okay, do you want me to walk you there?”

“No, I will be fine! I promise. I love you!”

“I love you too! Call me when you get there!” 

“Okay, I will! I love you.” I lean up and kiss him passionately. “I will see you later?” 

“Yes! I am going to pick you up from work!” I smile and kiss him one more time before I walk out the front door.

I get a taxi and jump in and tell the drive the address. I hear my phone beep and pull it out to see a text from Brandon.

‘I already miss you!’

‘I miss you too! I wish I could spend the day with you, but I have to work!’

‘I know! I can’t wait to see you when you get home tonight!’

“Me too! I love you!’

‘I love you too!’   I start to smile like an idiot and the driver says we are here. I pay him his money and get out and walk inside the store. I go behind the counter and see Taylor is standing there checking out a costumer. When they walk out of the store she turns to me. 

“So why are you so late?” she asks with her eyebrows raised.

“Well I had an exciting night last night!” 

“Oh yeah! Brandon had that concert last night! How was it? I would hate to see all those girls drooling over my boyfriend!”

“Well he isn’t really my boyfriend anymore.”

“What?” she asks confused. I hold out my hand with the ring on it and her eyes go big. “OMG!!!! Holy shit! YOUR GETTING MARRIED!!” She screams jumping up and down! “OMG! OMG! OMG! You have to tell me exactly how it happened!!!”

“Well we were at the concert and he was on the last song then he called me onto the stage. He sat me down in a chair and started singing this amazing song to me. After he finished he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! It was so romantic!” 

“He really did it in front of like 1 million screaming fans?”

‘Yeah!”

“THAT IS SO CUTE!!! You are so lucky you have him!”
