Ben's POV
"So Bre, got any embarrassing childhood stories about Nick?" I asked, hoping to get something really good. "Oh, I've got loads." She smirked. "Bre, don't even think about it." Nick growled.
"Well, there was this one time when he was 12..." She gave Nick one of the evilest looks I'd ever seen. Nick's eyes went wide as if he knew exactly what she was going to say. "We were at a playground..." She paused again, for effect. Nick was violently shaking his head, trying to get her to stop.
I was getting a kick out of this. Even if she didn't tell me the story, it was fun to see Nick this agitated. By now, all the other guys were paying attention. "Nick wet himself." Becca chimed in, earning her a harsh glare from Nick. Becca and Bre both went into fits of laughter.
Their laughs were so contagious that the entire table was eventually laughing except Nick. He just looked mortified. "Dude..." Sky laughed, "you wet yourself when you were 12?!" Sky looked like he was dying he was laughing so hard.
Nick's look of guilt and shame told us it was true, which made us laugh all the harder.
Nick's POV
Another reason I can't stand Becca: she doesn't know when to keep her mouth shut. By the way Bre was talking, I knew she wouldn't tell them that story if I was that adamant about it. But Becca? No. She just had to blurt it out for the whole table to hear.
"Yeah guys, but Becca over here, didn't tell you the whole story. I told her I had to go to the bathroom and she pinned my up against a tree until I couldn't hold it anymore. And Bre didn't do anything to stop it either." I frowned at Becca.
The guys all suddenly turned to Becca and raised their eyebrows, while Bre hid her face. Becca almost looked scared for a second, but it quickly was replaced her her usual smirk.
"Really Becca? Really?" Sky took a drink of his coffee, trying not to bust out laughing. "Yes...?" She said tentatively. Sky spit his coffee out all over Becca, and started cracking up.
Uh oh. Becca was gonna kill him! What? What is this? A smile? Was Becca actually smiling? And now laughing? No way. Was Becca actually taking a joke?! Could it be?
"Oh Sky..." She smiled sweetly, then stood up and dumped her coffee on his head. "There's the Becca I know and love." I nodded my head. Sky was just sitting there in shock, as the coffee dripped down his face.
"Becca!" He gasped. She smirked as she shrugged her shoulders.
Becca's POV
Oh. My. Goodness. I can't believe I just dumped coffee on Sky Flaherty's head! I was so dumb! He'd never want to date me after this! I was done for, but I played my cool. I did my signature smirk, and tried to play it off.
Oh please don't be mad! He was just staring at me, unsure of what to say it seemed. "You will be making it up to me." A smile played at his lips. "And how exactly would I do that?" I gave him a smug look, figuring he hadn't thought that far ahead.
"Go out on a date with me." He snickered. I was speechless. I had dreamed of dating Sky for as long as I could remember, and now I actually had the chance. And all because I dumped coffee on his head!
"So, whadya say?" Sky winked at me. "You're on." I bit my lip out of nervous habit. "Sky, don't wink at her!" Bre exclaimed, surprised. "You obviously don't know Sky very well. He winks at everyone." Josh blurred out.
"Yeah. Sky would wink at a grocery bag." Ben chimed in. No matter. I was freaking out inside. I was going on a date with Sky Flaherty.
