{Years earlier, a few days after prom}
Alice looked around some before slowly stepping out hold a bouquet of flowers, a simple set of mums, roses and baby's breath. "Ah good the grave is untouched.." She smiled a bit carefully laying the flowers on the grave "Rye..Rye Virgill? Virgiil?" Alice narrowed her eyes trying to read the faded words that were carved onto the tombstone before chuckling some "I'm sure your spirit doesn't like it in the slightest but I'll figure out eventually.." She carefully arranged the flowers before stand up moving to the second grave "let's see.." She brushed her fingers across the tomb stone before sighing "I guess I won't be able to fifer your husbands name out rye.." She smiled gazing at ryes grave only the soft rustling sound of leaves answered her as she slowly stood "I would leave flowers if you two had a child.." Alice stared at the graves a slight pain swelling up in her chest "if only..." Alice closed her eyes, everything around her seemed to slow down, the sound of leaves gently rustling and the soft whistle of the wind she her hair caught in the blowing wind lifting it up a little as she felt something cold brush against her hand opening her eyes Alice found herself standing in a pure white area, faint music could be herd as she looked around. Alice felt no panic rather a soothing feeling "this place.." She looked from side to side before she stopped in front of her was a woman, she had beautiful scarlet reddish hair and soft green eyes, a beautiful black dress adorned her body flowing down past her ankles "a.." Alice tried to speak but nothing came out as the woman took a few steps forward before speaking "You..are you who's been caring for my grave..?" Her voice was surprisingly soft with a slight hint of curiosity. A moment passed before she vanished and Alice found herself back at the graves the area around her much darker showing signs of a storm coming "what..?" Alice's voice was caught up as she gasped some slowly panting looking around "what..who was...there no way that was.." Alice shook her head "I had to be hallucinating.." She glanced back at the grave blinking a few times before she sighs closing her eyes one final time
{Present day}
"ah hello rake.." Rye smirked some as the rake making a strange high pitched squeaking like noise rubbing it's bare dry skin against ryes palm as she chuckled "It seems all the nightmares are quite happy" she remarked before the rake looked over both of them hearing tiny footsteps.A small girl around aikos size slowly came into view, she wore a filthy pink dress no shoes, her brown hair slightly covered her blood stained face on top of this she slightly carried a old teddy bear with her "Rake...? What are you doing up...? Miss Alice is sleeping.." Sally spoke her voice sounded sleepy as she walked closer rubbing her eye before stopping a short distance from rye looking up "who are you..?" She asked sleepily tilting her head some "the nightmares haven't killed you..are you welcomed?" Sally stared at rye who smiled a little "Yes I came to see Alice," rye spoke looking down at Sally who nodded a little "Rake go get Miss Alice.."
The rake made a strange noise and jumped into the darkness and up the two flights of stairs gently pushing open the door leading to where Alice lay fast asleep. Moving quietly the rake leaned over tapping at her mask "M....Iss.....a...lisse...." The rake managed to squeeze other while tapping her mask, within a few taps Alice opened her eyes "Yes? It's unusual for you to wake me.." The rake climbed off her pointing some "g..uiesst..." The rake managed to squeeze out as Alice slowly rose from her bed and began walking "I suppose it's time I told her.." Alice quietly walked down appearing from the darkness before stopping "Little rye hm?" She walked over kneeling down "Sally what are you doing up?" Alice's voice softened a little as Sally looked over "I didn't know if rye was uninvited..I was going to kill her if she wasn't but she said..she wanted to see you" Sally yawned some as Alice picked her up "No killing until tomorrow when you've gotten your rest.." Alice turned her head as Sally slightly nuzzled her had against Alice "okay miss Alice.." Sally half awake spoke as Alice looked at rye silent for a moment before leaving vanishing into the darkness once more.A few moments later Alice retuned and stopped a few feet away from rye "Little rye..why are you here?" Alice stared for a moment as rye sighed "My grave had been cared for and taken care of for some time. There was also a necklace left and I must ask..were you the one?
There was a long pause before Alice nodded slowly "Before I became this.." Alice reached up taking her mask off and sliding the bandages off reveling the now red stitches with a little fresh blood forming, as she opened her eyes she noticed rye taking a slight step back "I decided that at least, your grave should be treated better than me.." The stitches moved some as Alice spoke "when I was still considered to be somewhat human..I left a gift by your grave recently, a necklace as a.."offering" is what someone told me.." She seemed slightly irritated while speaking before her voice became dull again "each day that I could I would visit with fresh flowers.." Alice began walking rye following behind her "I had plans to plant more permanent flowers however.." She trailed off leading rye down the now dark halls and room into a new dimly lit room rye had never been in before causing her to stop as Alice took a few steps forward turning facing her "a rude awakening kept me from doing such..""A rude awakening?" Rye questioned as Alice nodded as she slipped the bandages back on clicking her bulky gas mask into place. Slightly moving Alice's different colored eyes met eyes pitch black ones
"The awaking of the Nightmare goddess and the death of Alice Reisa. Rye Virgil...this is my tomb.."
