Lena threw Kara to the ground, again and again in ever increasing creative ways, shouting different ways of dying that Kara could never have imagined every time she did so, by this time that blonde had more bruises, cuts and ominous red marks than an MMA fighter, she groaned as Lena got up from her straddling position on her hips, reaching out her hand to pull Kara back to her feet, she looked around at Alex who was currently being thrown across the room by Rebekah, although she put up more of a fight than Kara ever could, and as for Maggie she was sulking in the corner after being given a powerful right hook by Katherine that had sent her to the land of nod for a few minutes. Lexie had been sent out to try and gain some vital information on where Niklaus was hiding Damon and Stefan away, she had been away for ages which could either be a very good thing, or a very bad thing.

"That's enough for today" Lena ordered, "You three" she gestured to Kara, Alex and Maggie, a no nonsense look struck her face, she was not to be messed with, "Go home, treat your wounds, this is going to be harder than I thought.." Lena trailed off, deep in thought on how she was going to come up with a better way of training the three humans, that had bitten off more than they could chew, although they were all to stubborn to admit it. Kara nodded, to tired to stay and argue that she was fine, that she didn't need a rest because that would be one of the biggest lies she had ever told, ever.

"I'll see you tomorrow" Kara winced as she limped over to the exit of the warehouse, with Maggie and Alex linked arm in arm following slowly behind her until all three of them had finally exited the building. Lena sighed rubbing her temples slowly, not only was she worried sick about her brothers but now she was worried about dragging Kara into this after all these years of trying to keep her as far away from Niklaus as possible, she didn't want history to repeat itself, especially to someone as innocent and sweet as Kara.

"I think it might be time to compel your little girlfriend her friends to forget who we are" Katherine said, biting into a blood bag that she had stolen from the New York general hospital last night, Lena didn't mind it was better than going out and killing innocent people directly. Rebekah leaned against the table in the middle of the otherwise empty room, picking at her nails calmly.

"Again I hate to agree with psycho over there, but this is stupid if we take them with us on a huge rescue mission for your brother they will only get in the way." Rebekah said hoping that her friend would soon see reason and stop living the same fantasy over and over again that she could be happy with a human for the rest of her days, it simply wasn't possible. Katherine acted hurt at the nickname Rebekah had given her, snarling like a wild animal, Lena rolled her eyes knowing that of she didn't keep the two of them on tight leads, they would fight each other to the death and enjoy it.

"I mean there is another way" Katherine said mysteriously, making Lena raise an eyebrow, maybe for once in her life Katherine had come up with a meaningful suggestion. "We turn them, that way they might actually be strong and fast enough to do some damage" Katherine said smiling sadistically, and to Lena's surprise Rebekah actually looked like she was seriously considering this crazy suggestion, Lena had to put a stop to this idea while it was in motion.

"Come on Katherine, you can't be serious you know how hard it is looking after one new vampire, can you imagine looking after three!" Lena exclaimed knowing that giving her other reason which was just about her feelings for the blonde would have absolutely no impact on the other to vampires, where as this one just might.

"Nobody move or your friend dies!" A hoarse, male voice came from the other side of the room, the three vampires spun round to see Lexie, held firmly by a male vampire that not one of them recognised, it must be one of Niklaus' lackeys. The male vampire was holding a huge steak over Lexie's heart, one wrong move and she would be dead, really dead on the highway to hell for sure.

"What do you want?" Katherine growled, showing of her long pointed fangs, Rebekah standing behind her, showing her own pointy set, Lena was still in disbelief trying to figure out a way to secure Lexie's safety along with the death of this intruder, what a message that would send to Niklaus. The man smiled, pressing the steak into Lexie's skin, making her groan in pain as it burned her pale skin.

"Nikalus wanted you to know that nobody is safe, he can kill any of you, anytime he likes it and theres nothing you can do about it!" The man snarled, pressing the steak harder into the blondes chest, making her scream out in pain.

"Stop it!" Lena shouted edging closer to the male vampire, who tightened his grip on Lexie, Lena had no idea what to do, how to save her friend.

"I told you not to move, Niklaus doesn't like people who break the rules and you just broke the rules" The man whispered just loud enough for everyone to hear and while remaining eye contact with Lena he drove the steak deep into lexie's heart before throwing her dead body to the ground, Lena screamed out in anger as she used her super speed to tackle the male vampire tearing out his heart and crushing it in her hand to make sure he was dead for good. She fell to the ground cradling Lexie's dead body on her lap, Katherine and Rebekah knelt down beside her, praying that Lexie would find the peace she deserved on the other side.

"Niklaus will pay for this" Katherine growled, shutting Lexie's eyes over.
