Hey Guys, hope you enjoy chapter 3 :D
Eun Jae came home from school late in the afternoon. Dad had called me earlier, asking me to prepare dinner for Eun Jae and I since he was working the whole night. When she had put down her stuff, we headed outside to go shopping for groceries.
"What are we eating tonight?" She asked pulling her long raven black hair up into a high ponytail.
I shrugged lightly, "Don't know. What do you want?"
She mulled it over for a while and readied herself to answer. "Can you make samgyetang? With rice?"
"Sure, let's have that. Maybe we can go by dad later and give him some food."
Eun Jae agreed to that idea. We arrived at the supermarket beginning to scan around for the ingredients. I pushed my sister in one direction for chicken and I headed in another for rice and other various things to put in the dish.
God, I loved my sister so much. Sometimes she could be a pain, but all siblings are obligated to be. She probably took it the hardest among the two of us, when mom passed away. Somehow it made me feel bound to act more like a mother to her. Because I got to have 5 more years with our mom than she did, I felt sorry every day.
I only want to give her the life she deserves.
"Y/N!" Eun Jae's voice broke my daydream. She rushed over, happily holding up two whole chickens. One in each hand. The image of that itself was hilarious. I couldn't help but laugh at her. "I see you got a hold of some chicken!" I held a hand to my stomach, it was hard to breathe from laughter.
Her facial expression went from excited to insulted in seconds. "That's what you wanted right? Why are you laughing?" she coldly snorted and threw them into the basket. "Have you seen yourself Eun? The way you held the chickens in each hand was hilarious."
Clearly offended by my statement Eun Jae scoffed and strutted away down the aisle with tea and coffee.
I chuckled to myself watching her walk away down the aisle. Her personality had the disadvantage that she took a lot of things way too personally. Even telling her that she shouldn't take things too personal would make her throw a fit and declare that the whole world was against her. She needs to toughen up a bit.
When I had finished finding all the ingredients, I found my sister by the electronics section. She was standing by a rack filled with albums, headphones on. I looked over her shoulder at the screen she was watching, while searching for music to listen to. It seemed that she was quite the SuperJunior fan. Then again, I already knew that.
She was listening to their hit song 'Sorry, Sorry'. It seemed she hadn't noticed me standing behind her since she started dancing. I watched her crazy movements with a huge grin smothered across my face.
Turning around, Eun Jae jumped up startled to see me standing in front of her. "Are you ready to go home?" I asked, acting as if I did not notice what she had been doing. She nodded and followed me to the checkout. After paying for everything we headed down the street for home. As we strolled down the street, we passed by SM Entertainment. It was weird to see the company since I had not realized it was super close to our store.
It towered over all the other buildings next to it. Of course, it would look powerful and majestic above the rest, it was only one of the top three companies placed in Seoul.
Eun Jae then started blabbering her mouth about how cool SM was and that they had all the best artists and that she couldn't believe she was actually standing in front of the building.
