It had been a few days since I left home and I had to admit that I was starting to miss my dad a little. I was still angry with him though.

I was walking to class when the realization hit me; I had to get a job. I completely forgot when the incident happened that I was fired.

I needed to get a job soon or else I wouldn't be able to pay for college much longer.
Today I had to go look for a job when I was done with classes.

Maybe Ha-Ra could help? I decided to ask her when I found her at the entrance to the classroom.

"Hey, are you free after the last lecture?" I asked as we made our way to our seats all the way in the back of the room.

"Yeah, what's up?" She sat down and began opening her bag.

"I need to find a job, maybe you would want  to come with?"

"Oh right... You were fired from the other job, I forgot," she frowned rummaging around her bag, "Hey!" her eyes suddenly widened,
"You know my parents own a restaurant right? I know that one of the employees quit because she got pregnant, why don't we visit after class and talk to my parents?"

"Ha-Ra, thank would be great! Thank you so much, you're truly the bestest friend anyone could have," I beamed at her and brought out my bag as well.

"Then it's settled," she smiled and turned her attention to the teacher now standing in front of the class.

When the lecture was over, we headed into town where Ha-Ra's parents ran their restaurant called Seoul Barbeque. Luckily it wasn't so busy when we got there, so we had time to talk to her parents.

"Mom? Meet my best friend Kang Y/n," Ha-Ra went up to a middle-aged woman. She looked a lot like Ha-Ra. The woman was petite and very pretty.

"Oh, hello nice to meet you. I'm Minyoung, Ha-Ra has told me a lot about you," she smiled kindly at me, the way only a mother could. "Jae-Geun! Come meet Y/n, Ha-Ra's friend," Minyoung called out to a very tall figure with his back turned to us.

He turned around and walked our way. He was wearing an old man smile on his face, "Hello, Y/N, nice to meet you," he was almost over six feet tall. It wasn't usually normal to a Korean man that tall but it suited him.

"Hi," I greeted him with a bow and shook his hand with both of mine.

Ha-Ra's parents were extremely nice people and they treated as if I was their family.

We talked to them about my current situation and they hired me on the spot. I'm going to be forever grateful for that family.

When we had been at the restaurant and Minyoung and Jae-Geun had shown me the works of the job, Ha-Ra and I went home.

"Your parents are really nice," I said glancing to the side at Ha-Ra.

"Thanks, I quite think so myself," she giggled and wrapped an arm around mine as we strolled happily down the street.

I loved the way Ha-Ra could make me forget everything and just be happy for a while. I mean that's what friends are for. I still thank my mom for it, I'm sure she was part of this.

We said goodbye at the intersection and went our separate ways. I let myself in at Donghae's apartment as he wasn't home yet. He was probably still busy with practicing for their comeback or something like that.

It felt almost like playing house, living with him like that. All we were missing now were some kids running around. Good thing I'm not ready for anything like that just yet. I shuddered at the thought and threw my bag in the entrance by the shoes standing there.
