(Scene opens in Rita's home)

(Enter Rita, Bowie, Ashlynn, and Blair)

(Abuela is sitting in the couch watching a telenovela)

Rita: Hello! I'm home!

Abuela: Estoy en la sala! (I'm in the living room)

Rita: *Talking to friends* She's in the living room. Ash, Blair you guys come with me. Bowie, you know what to do.

Bowie: Got it, babe

Rita: Abuela I want you to meet my friends!

Abuela: Yes yes, bring them in!

(Rita, Blair, and Ashlynn go into living room as Bowie still hid behind the wall)

Rita: This is my friend Ashlynn, and this is Blair.

Abuela: Air? Como el oxígeno que respiras? (like oxygen that you breathe?)

Rita: No Abuela. Bl-air

Abuela: Ah, Blair

Rita: Yes Abuela

Abuela: ¿Por qué todos tus amigos son tan Blancos? (Why are all of your friends so white?)

Rita: Abuela

Abuela: I jos saying

(While they are talking Bowie moves quickly past the door frame)

(Enter Diego, Andres, and Carlos)

(Bowie runs into the brothers)

Blair: It's mighty fine to meet you ma'am

Abuela: Y este fue criado en un granero? (and this one was raised in a barn?)

Rita: Abuela

Abuela: Ay, dime que estoy equivocado. (Hey, tell me I'm wrong)

Blair: What did she say>

Rita: Oh, she said that she really likes your hair.

Blair: *Butchering Spanish* Gracias muy bien, plátano, vasos, leche. (Thank you very good, banana, glasses, milk.)

Abuela: ¿Se dejó caer sobre su cabeza o algo así? (was she dropped on her head or something?)

Rita: She says "You're welcome"

Blair: Aw, she's so sweet.

Rita: Okay Abuela, we are going to my room. We'll be down for dinner.

Abuela: Esta bien, Rita (Okay, Rita)

(Rita, Blair, and Ashlynn exit the living room)

(Living room goes black)

(Exit Abuela)

(Rita, Ashlynn, and Blair walk up to Bowie and the Brothers)

Rita: Guys, leave him alone.

Diego: You know this guy?

Andres: Abuela is gonna kill you if she sees him.

Carlos: Especialmente un gringo

Rita: Yeah, I know. That's why she won't see him.

Andres: How are you so sure?

Rita: What are you talking about, Andres?

Carlos: What do we get?

Rita: Ugh, what do you want?

Diego: Well, we haven't had a torta in forever.

Rita: I have things to do, tortas take so long to make. Forty-five minutes for each cake. That's 2 and a half hours that I don't have.
